School Blockd Sites

Its not even worth using the computer at school anymore they block all the sites I usually go to including this one, so I usually wait to get home so I use the internet on my PC.

They decided to block FAC a few months ago. I can't go on FAC, DA and tons of other sites. We had to look for pics for an art work and lots of sites were blocked, how fun.

at least you have internet, the internet in my school is only for teachers and we can only use the computer when we have computer class or however it is said in english

Hm. It was kind a funny when an entire class of thirty couldn't get to any websites to research stuff because of blockers. Happened three times this year.

Subject: Intelligent Design. Reason: Religion.

Incidentally you can still get to porn by way of google images. I discovered this by accident when I image searched for "mobile phone" during a CAD class. (The assignment was to design and build a phone...) Hm. I wonder if any one's going to try that now. xD

FAC was blocked at work yesterday, but isn't today... My place of business seems to do that a lot. Three weeks ago LJ was completely unblocked, then it was blocked if you tried to log in for a while, then they completely blocked it for a couple of days, and now it's back to being unblocked.

They even had Google blocked for a couple days once.

There's a moderate block on sites on our school computers (this one included) but if you hit refresh enough (or type in a long code thing that I don't know) you can get around it, usually.

Our school has laptops. :pwn: Either way, FAC used to be allowed on our school laptops, but I think they trace what we go to on there, and they probably saw those NC-17 yaoi pics. >_> *coughhotcough* Next time I went, BLOCKED. ><

I used the internet on my school some days ago cause we where having final exams and no one was doing nothing, guess what, I was just using msn and they kicked me out of the room Shocked

I say, that they don't block anything in my school. However... we are told that if someone acts stupid way by visiting on some "forbidden" sites, then it's all internet accesses off from everyone in school. But on other words, our school's students are enough wise not to go on those sites 8)
