I can skate. I have a real old-stlye board that I use when I have nothing better to do. Can't really do anything on it though, since it's so heavy (not like I could if it wasn't).

we have a lot of skateparks in this area (we used to have a skate-shop in the mall that had a half-pipe, but some rich snob didn't know what he was doing, wiped out, and they closed it)

yeah, but the parks around here are always swarming with preppy-punks T.T god they irritate me

I know a lot of skaters here. Nick Crossman, Talon Williamson, Jack Cox, they're all cool.
No where to skate here, either. There are a few skate parks, but that's it.

Yeah, that's always the biggest problem.

We used to have a park in Beaufort, when I lived there, but some asswipe thought he could grind a rail, balanced like s**t, snapped his board in half, and cracked his nuts. He sued the damn park for the injury. One good thing about it is: no girl will ever go out with him. Damn fucker had it comin.

He had a fuckin Power Rangers board. Jesus........

A question!

-How can there be "Skater-punks" or even "preppy skater-punks" when skating is a hobby, and not a way of life by any means?

All the punks I know hate skaters. . . . .

They're a little contradicted. Like those people who wear that stupid jewelry, spike up their hair and say they're "true, bad-ass, motherfuckin punks and if you don't like it, tough s**t". It's kind of the same thing. A little confused.

Sayin you're a "skater punk" is a way of getting attention with words rather than actions.

Oh, and Will, same reason here. Broke my wrist on a grind. Haven't touched it since.
