Why? I mean, yeah, Denis's massive gallery shows what a prolific talent he is, but that doesn't mean he has to make his own avatar too. Rolling Eyes

Given the fact Denis just makes the site for the fanart and doesn't actually make fanart himself (that he'll post, hmmm), a preset avatar is quite appropriate. One step away from letting the computer make it for him.

many people say it's unoriginal because he uses a preset smiley for avatar but he's the only one I ever saw using one actually, which makes it original in my opinion

Well that's mainly because he turned off that section. It was original for this site, but in comparison to others it wasn't.

I think you're trying to cause a scene and it ain't happening 'cause Denis is love and people here know that.

His avatar was what he chose when he made the forums, not picking out something to do with his name or anything. Just an image. There's no large philosophical meaning behind it (other than it's an evil face and Denis is, himself, the bane of all life). So don't worry yourself about it.

Denis has been using it for so long I'd hate to see anyone else using it and I know him by that image... It's sort of like he's been squatting in it for so long, he's got squatter's rights and near enough owns it through reputation.

Besides, Fallen already said it so shhh already <3

I see what you're saying. Originally I wanted to people answer a yes or no question, but it seems like too many people wanted to go into the meaning. No offense if any taken. Though what if someone had his avatar only recolored? What would you be willing to do?

Avatars were meant to represent the person. If you post and someone sees your avatar and they go, "Oh, _________ said that," then it has done its job. :\ It doesn't need to do any more than that. ~~And considering the artistic incapacity of some people, I should hope that it never gets to mean more than that.~~
