Does Help Help?

You see, I made this poll because I've been trying to post art for 3 months. Help isn't helping.

The little "Help" link at the top of the forum page is for technical help (i.e. how to use the forum [i]software[/i]) only. As for this, the "Help" forum, do not panic if we cannot answer your question or figure out a solution to your problems. Many problems (such as the infamous login problem) are difficult to diagnose, let alone solve, and there's only one person across the entire board who can do that (the webmaster, denis).

At the top of each page in here you should see instructions for using this forum. You know, #1: Always read the FAQ before posting a question. Chances are that the type of problem you're having has already been mentioned before (especially with the login problem, which [b]has[/b] in no small quantities been mentioned before) and though we may not have the answer, we always do have some tips and advice we can give.

Look, babe, I don't know what you want. If there's a bug, Denis is working on it. He can't just magically fix it, and he's not going to put off everthing else [i]just[/i] to focus on this. We've answered your question as best it can be, so sorry it wasn't magically fixed. You're far from the only person who's encountered this, as stratadrake mentioned with the number of times it's been brought up. Help is NOT here to fix every bug nor every problem. It's here to give people the answers to their questions. Sometimes that solves the problem, other times it just clarifies what the problem is.

There is no answer past "it's a bug, it's being worked on, sorry for the inconvenience". No matter how much you whine, there's not going to be any magical solution.

Now being as this thread serves no other purpose, I'm closing it.
