Except I mainly just collect it for the art. Rarely is anything fappable.

Well, I'm 19. I still like anime, but I can't realli say I'm obsessed. I don't buy any of the DVDs and stuff; I just watch whatever comes on TV; I don't even like drawing the characters. Sometimes I don't watch anime on TV at all; it's been a while since I've watched TV. I'm more into video games than anime, but once again, I'm not one of those crazed, obsessed fangirls who has no life. (I wasn't referring to u when I said that.) Smile

I could get a boyfriend if I wanted to (in fact, some dude in my college is comin' after me even as I speak; yikes!), but my religion forbids it; plain and simple. Judging by the way I look and how mature people say I am, it's always hard to believe for a lot of my peers that I like anime; I realli don't look like the type of person. Guys like to think I'm one of those "flashy chicks who demands only the best of the best", but they only judge me like that because I supposedly look a little bitchy when I'm not smiling. Why, even back in high school, I liked anime, but the members of the school's anime club gave me the creeps; I tended to stay away from them. I just find anime cute; I love the many facial, cartoony expressions they make on their faces. Sometimes the storylines are interesting, too. With that said, I don't have trouble making friends. It's okay to like anime as long as you're able to concentrate on other things at the same time, like friends, school, family, jobs, etc... etc... Hardly any of my best friends care too much about anime, but it's all right because I can just as easily change the topic of our conversations to something we can all relate to.
