Out of all the types of games (Platform, R.P.Gs, Racing, Fighting style, etc.) which one(s) are you best at, and which one are you worst at?
What's my one I hear you all ask?
Well, when it comes to my worst type. Well I'm really rubbish at sports games like the football games and things like rally racing, (I keep spinning out)
As for me best. When it comes to platform type games like Mario and Sonic and R.P.Gs like Zelda, I rule!
So what's your answers. What types of games make you cheer and which make you cry? 8)

RPG is probably going to be easiest for most people since a good number of them are turn-based battling, and most of the storylines an' stuff are pretty linear. Your basic RPG is probably easiest for me, but I prefer either tactical RPGs (think Final Fantasy Tactics) or action RPG (Kingdom Hearts, Zelda series...) since neither of them are as painfully... boring when it comes to battling. Tactical is slow but it's enjoyable because usually you have to put a lot of thought into what you're doing (aka, every move, every turn counts) and I love the rapid pace of action RPGs. Turn-based stuff I really don't enjoy as much because they're slow, boring, and they follow the same formula: support -> attack -> heal as needed.

:\

I heard that there was a a "super secret final boss" in FF12 that takes - on average - 10h for people to battle. You have no idea how much that turns me off. SE, length =/= challenge. Not an enjoyable one, anyway. What can you say to people? "Hey, I spent 10h straight in front of my TV killing this one boss!" lol, okei... you have immense patience AND no life. Fuuuun. =_=;

As for games I'm poorest at... Probably good ol' FPS. I don't really mind them overall, infact, I actually like watching people play them, but I have no skill whatsoever. XD I get too nervous with those games. And not just multiplayer stuff. I fail completely and utterly at one-player console stuff like SH and RE, too. XD; Maybe I just need to play them more often, I dunno... X3

I reckon I'm probably best at beat 'em ups, as in Dead or Alive, Tekken, Soul Calibur... What I love to do if it's possible in a beat 'em up, is to learn the fighter's moves. I'm also getting along okay with RPGs, with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games being me favourites.

Worst games? Football games... can't get the hang of them, so I tend to avoid them. First Person Shooters I abhor, as the camera makes me feel ill after a while. This is why I tend to prefer third person, rather than first person, but having said that, I seem to be all right with Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, so maybe it's just FPSs in general. Strange, because I had Doom once on an old PC, and I was fine with that.

Best would have to be sort of action games. Syphon Filter, Metal Gear, you get the idea.

Worst would have to be sports games. I can do the button bashers, like Sydney 2000, but proper sports games? Forget it.

I'm probably best at RPGs and Strategy games [Fire Emblem, FF, Kingdom Hearts, Breath of Fire III and the games like Age of Empires]. I do like to play action games [DMC, Medal of Honour] sometimes but I'm pretty crap at them, they're probably my worst. Not to bad at Sports games, well I only play the soccer ones, and Racing Games are ok too. I also like the GTA series from 3 up.

RPGs. I give up on FFs before the end of the first disk, though. (Excluding Tactics and T:A) I prefer either Live Action battles or Strategy.

My worst Genre is probably FPS. :S or Rythm.

I'm best at RPG's or rhythm games and fighting games.

I really suck at fps any game on the Pc. It just doesn't work for me.

RPGs, but there's a spot in my heart for certain platform games (Ratchet and Clank, Sly).

I'm pretty good with RPGs and fighting games and enjoy strategy games. I can have a decent score in race games too but I get annoyed very quickly with those (except for Mario Kart). I also have a hard time when it comes to sport games such as soccer, baseball, football, hockey and stuff like that.

I'm good at RPGs and Racing. Like Wave Race. Not sure about worst games though...

I've played many Mario, Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog games (STH ones with Amy in it). I'm comfortable with those kind of games.
The one game I'm not good at is Thundercade for the original NES, which you need a slow-motion sequence for it. It was shown on one of those game player's Gametapes from the past.

I'm best with RPGs, but like Fayore, I prefer tactical or action-based rather than turn-based. Which is not to say that I don't love some of the oldie goodies, like Final Fantasy 6 and Breath of Fire 3, but generally I prefer games like Disgaea or Tales of Symphonia.

I like fighting and racing games, but only a few. Mostly the more creative ones, like Soul Calibur or Mario Kart. The only platformers I like are Sonic ones where you can play as Tails, because I'm madly in love with Tails. He is cuter than all getout. The first Sonic game for Dreamcast was a dream (bad pun, somebody smack me) because you could 1) play as Amy and do her awesome flying flipping hammer-slam jump thing and 2) play as Tails and spin throughout the entire game once you got the Rhythm Badge. That was awesome.

Games I hate and/ or am terrible at? FPS and sports games. FPS, I flip out because I have no time to think and I don't deal well with monsters jumping out at me from around corners. Sports games, I hate sports and thus have no interest in the games. I don't even know how good or bad I am at them--I never play them. Why waste my time doing something I hate? If I want to play sports, I'm rounding up my friends and going outside to play Calvinball.

Wow. A lot of people are into RPGs. I didn't notice it then. Anyone can play an RPG, as long as they have patience in leveling up and can analyze the storyline easily.. The turn-based ones are the easiest, whilst the "charging bar" turn-based ones like FFX-2 might be harder, but can still be bearable for average players. Contenders can find them easy to play. I have my share of RPG games once in a while. It's not a problem.

Button mashing...pfft. Don't get me started. A monkey can play a button mashing game and still win.

I guess I'm best at racing games. I have a lot of them and I practice every weekend. 5% out of the 40 people I've met can barely even best me. I suppose I'm also quite good at fighting games like Tekken and Soul Calibur. I'm only average at tactical games like Starcraft and Command and Conquer. Above average at RPG's and "flyers". I'm hopeless at sports games, though. Never played one.

I absolutley stink at any kind of game that requires fast reaction time. I have extreme difficulty with racing games and shooters. FPS are the absolute worst, because the camera makes me queasy as well.

I love RPG's, especially turn-based ones, because there is much less pressure to do things quickly. On can take ones time and admire the visuals and smell the virtual flowers.

I think I'm good at RPGs (if I have the strategy guide) :B

and I fail at just about everything else. Racing games are too fast paced and I can't keep up, puzzles make my brain hurt and my attention span doesn't hold up, fighting, I always get my butt kicked, by my nine year old brother, shooters because I can't see what's behind me and I usually get murdered thanks to poor stealth, and tactics because any army under my lead is bound to die a very bloody death.

Myup...I'm not the gamer I used to be years ago. Laughing

I think action/adventure games such as Sonic, Zelda, and Mario are easiest for me, hardest are probably those first person shooting games where u can't see anything behind you, I hate that ><

Anything to do with sneaking around levels and grabbing things, I can not do.

I'm better at going up-front, defeating the enemies, reaping the goods etc.

Games like Sly Cooper, I just couldn't manage. Give me a game like Sonic or Ratchet & Clank and I'm fine.

Im good at fps's on pc inperticullarly. Stuff like Call of Duty and Halo are my favorites. I pretty ok at rts aswel (you know like Command & conquer, Age of empires stuff like that) And I like Flight sims too, mostly combat ones as i find the civilian aircraft absolutly boring.

My worst games are racers and RPG's, they take too long and can be annoying. I dont like the whole stats idea, where you improve your charecter and that. I suck at racers just because I do.. no reason why, just do...
