Manga Vs Anime

I can't really say anything about most mangas because, again, the only mangas I have read are the .hack series, and some Ragnarok.

I find manga is a lot better than anime most of the time, becasue you can imagine the voices and colours. If the anime is based on manga sometimes it dosent follow the storyline at all and the characters personalitys seem a little odd compared to the manga. (Like Tokyo Mew Mew/ Mew Mew Power *shudder* I hate Mew Mew Power with an intense, burning hatred. Tokyo Mew Mew is OKAY though.)

Someone scans pages of the original japanese manga, and replaces all the japenese text with the english (or whatever other language) translation.

scan + translation = scanlation 8D

There are hundreds of scanlation sites on the web 8D

I don't have access to many manga's, but sometimes the manga is better than the anime. I prefer the anime though.

I prefer Manga now (man i changed my mind soooo quick lol ) because i like thinking of what the characters voices sound like and thinking of what they would look like if they were in anime form (wierd i know but still...)

As for my opinion, I think Anime is better. It doesn't have as many.....chapters as manga does, so waiting isn't much of a hassle. And it's a lot more accurate and popular. Also, I have a lesson for you all.

The definition of "Irony":

Irony is when these guys start singing a song inside a plane and the song was written by a famous band that died in a plane crash.

In this case, we're all talking about the Anime/Manga stuff, and a lot of the guys here have both Anime/Manga avatars and pics. Get the irony of that?

Manga is kinda good cause it's a lot longer.When you c d anime of something it's always just 30 or less episodes.Why cant they make it longer [/i][/b]

They don't make it longer because it's expensive to animate.. and they only have so much time to fill o.O

i like both of them.
i like manga because it is portable, doesnt cost much and you can use your imagination.
and i like anime because its better when you want to empathise with the characters yadda yadda etc. what i hate though, is filler episodes (probably along with most other people)

It all depends, obviously... like, Love Hina was totally different from the manga in what I believe was a sort of negative way, so I'm like, "oh my God, manga is so much better!"... but them I a watch really really good anime like something made from Studio Ghibli... and I'm back to square one! x3
