I simply love the Sonic games! It's the perfect blend of speed and intensity that I really love the most, and after I saw the trailer, I nearly screamed with joy! Too bad the consoles cost so damn much. >=( Oh, btw, I found a really cool Sonic vs Shadow movie trailer on Newgrounds. I'm waiting anxiously for that too! =D If you wanna see it, click here. |

There are going to be two different Sonic games this fall.
The first is the version for both the 360 and PS3... the second is "Sonic Wildfire", in development exclusively for Nintendo's new console. |

Its because Sony and Microsoft have invested a lot of money toward their new game counsols and creating excellent graphics and gameplay draws more consumers into purchasing those counsols to play those awsome looking games. Its not only about making a fun game system anymore. Now its getting more and more competitive with each new game system. Nintendo (whose been around in video games longer than both microsoft and sony) is being pushed out of the competition with these other huge companies. |

Thats true. Its all about whether the palyers enjoy the game overall. I had heard though that Nintendos new system (Wii) was made to target families and younger players. A qoute from the Nintendo website states, "Wii will put people more in touch with their games......and each other. Wii sounds like 'we' which emphasizes this console is for everyone." Theyre not nessesarily worried about competition against Microsoft and Sony, their just creating a game console thats fun for everyone. |

"Target"? More like "attract". Saying that it's "targetted" at them makes it sound as if it's made only for them, which it's not. Hardcore gamers will get their share too (Red Steel, MP3, etc.) |

right...the particular type of gamers they are aiming to sell this to are younger since they games rating are based off of games set to be played by everyone and not restricted based on age or maturity. Yes it will still of course have games for hardcore gamers, but the main focus is not on hardore games, but more of games fun for everyone! |

Eh, I'm the obsessive who still owns a Super Nintendo. I probably won't get PS3 for a few years...especially considering how bad I am with money ^.^ Pity, though. I love Sonic. Well, actually, I love Tails and thus by association the rest of the Sonic universe.

definately, you cant beat the classics systems and games. Its just that games like Mario and Sonic have succeeded to get better every new generation. |

Yeah, I'm a sonic fan ^^ (Well actually a Shadow fan) yeah, I heard about Sonic the hedgehog(game), I also saw something about Sonic Rivals coming out on PSP. From what I hear, Sonic and Knuckles were having a friendly battle, but it got serious and the other characters joined in. It's sort of a race/battle game 8) It looks kool _________________ Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the ability to overcome fear. |

I ish a Sonic fan, though I've been disappionted in the serious lately. It's not being used correctly. I feel Shadow is being overused and characters like Tails and Amy are getting no attention, which I wish they would get more. It should go back to its Sonic Adventure days... to me |

Yay! I agree. Tails and Amy could whip Shadow with both hands tied behind their back ~.^ _________________ Disgaea's Overlords Dance in Worlds Beyond Infinity while Mifuyus Magical Multiplying Mole reads the epic Chronicles of Yord, and you learn that your Craving for Finding a Heart of Snow is Taboo in VG unless you dare undertake The Combine of Sin... |

sonic is not sucking as bad as people think he is, actually. even games like shadow have all the fast paced action expected in a sonic game. mediocre storylines and an evr-growing character pool are all that seem to be hindering sonic. as for riders, most people refuse to accept that a sonic game should ake more than five minutes to learn how to play, so they bash it endlessly. It's sad really. Although the birds are somewhat half-baked attempts at characters. emplloying the 4kids sonic cast is definitly not helping anything either. Aside from Dan and Craig (jason is also noticibly more competent in games than show) all of the new va's don't have a lot to bring to the characters.
I agree with Creamstar, what sega needs is another sonic adventure to bring the blu blur outa the mud and back on track. |
