I'm so proud of my Poison boys. So damn proud. Ok, so The Tonight Show is home to crappy new bands that will never be heard from again, but they fuckin' worked it. Mini pyro and all. Bret's chubbed up, but C.C. looks so much better than the coked out mess he was before rehab. <3 And sounded good.

And...even with the cramped space...they made the most of it.

Giddy pointing and the television aside (and severe depression that their So Cal shows are when I'm back home Crying or Very sad ), 2006 is an...odd tour year. Most of the big names aren't going out at all. And the little 'uns are scrambling around in pieces.

But despite the lackluster selection, anyone excited for anybody in particular?

My band is recording a demo for a bar in town. We're posting our stuff on MySpace, as lame as it is, and it's getting good feedback. We'll post our newest song later on today, and I'm really proud of my solo/vox.
I'm proud of the RHCP for going back to their funky roots on their new album and still sounding great. At least they didn't try to create anything too new, and that made me quite happy and excitable. Very Happy

Well, can't blame a guy for tryin'... Wink
If you wanted tours, then Though I'm Told is a relatively unheard-of band that has some great stuff. They're touring the east coast in bars and stuff. I saw them live while waiting for another band to play, and they have an incredible guitarist and an incredible bassist.
I would be excited about the Red Hot Chili Peppers tour, but the closest they'll come to me is Georgia. I don't have enough gas money for that, not including tickets. Crying or Very sad

Edit: the new song is hereby posted. I kinda wish they'd stop messin' around with the "Ozzy" vox effects. Confused

Thats really awesome. C.C does look a lot better since rehab. Like on the Surreal Life, I expected him to cause a lot of trouble but instead he turned out to be like a really cool guy straight instead a coked up has-been. Wish I could've seen it.

As far as tours and shows are concerned, I don't know if this is a part of a tour but I heard that Motley Crue and Aerosmith are performing together in New Haven or Hartford in Septmember. Very Happy My boyfriend already said that its been talked about on a couple local rock stations, tickets are like the prize for every other contest.

I'm going as soon as tickets go on sale or are affordable. Aerosmith and Motley Crue together? Thats like better than sex. Very Happy

They're playing together on Sept. 23 in Camden New Jersey.

Stupid east coast. Sad

They just cancelled some dates indefinitely while he got it fixed. According to Pollstar, Camden is still on. But september is still some months away, plenty of time to cancel.

I wanted to go see Disturbed later in July I think at the Post Gazette Pavillion, in Pittsburgh or thereabouts, but I couldn't get the tickets. x-x

I might be going to the Froggy Fest though. You know, Froggy 103 FM radio? I love those guys. Country is what makes me go to sleep at night.

Plus, I could've gone to a Rascal Flatts concert. But I went home instead because I was tired as hell from jumping rope all day at a family reunion picnic.

Meh. I'll go to a concert one day.

Hopefully...

Good lord...after seeing Def Leppard on Craig Ferguson's show tonight...no one should be subjected to that this summer. At least before they were kinda fun and Joe Elliot could really sing, much as I don't like them, but his voice was such crap tonight. And the song was boring as hell.

They've now shot up the list of people who need to call it a day and retire with their money.

I heard a very bad local band cover Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" last night. The vocalist was braggin' about makin' out with 10 girls or something. We speculate that he was wearing the "Virgin" shirt so he could try and get laid.
It was heartbreaking in all the wrong ways.

I'm so stoked right now. Aerosmith/Motley Crue tickets go on sale on Thursday, I think they're starting at like $30 for grass seats and at least $60 for some good seats.

I still gotta ask my parents if its okay to go though. All I hear about these concerts is that there's a lot of excess weed, booze and plenty of topless girls. The Motley Crue concert, I expect all that from but I can't picture Aerosmith being quite that hardcore.

This will be my first concert if I go and I'm telling you, after this, I think I will be able to die a happy woman. Laughing
