Alot of people debate on what genre to have bands in, so I am asking you all, what genre do you think you would be best in?

I would probably be in rock or metal lol.

Alternative... I'd mix up styles. A little bit of rock, jazz, hip hop, rap, soul... I call it flip hop rock socks... OWNED.

I would probably be in a heavy metal band, or a rock band. Maybe a classical, solo instrument type of performist. One of those three. Those are my favorites.

Progressive/Expiermental/Funk

Two of my major influences, and favorite bands are The Mars Volta, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers, so I kinda make up progressive and funk stuff without really trying too hard when I play guitar.

That would be my dream band genre, but practically everyone I know who plays some type of musical instrument is into completley different type of music than me.

I've come up with some pretty sweet metal riffs though, so I guess I could make do in a metal band of some sort... but I wouldnt like it as much as a Prog Funk band.

something like graham colton band/ hot hot heat/ or OK GO.

those are great bands. i wish i had a band to play it. I do sing pretty well.

i just need to warm up and get back into it.
