Shadow the hedgehog 2 (I'm making this game)

Ok, Me and my friend are making a new game, It's called Shadow the hedgehog 2 Project: Lightning. We sort of need some support, all I need you guys to do is tell us if our ideas are good ones and if we should change anything. Ok, in this game, Shadow is still trying to remember his past. While he's thinking, he meets up with a black hedgehog with yellow stripes on his quills, arms, and legs who calls himself Lightning. You can decide to be on his side, or go against him, also you can decide to be on the good side, the dark side, and the neutral side. There is also a 2 player story mode on it. I'm not going to give any other info right now, because it's a surprise, but I will if I need to. So give me your opinions on this game please ^^ Thanks

Ok, other important Details I forgot to put on here. Unlike most Sonic games, you don't have a time limit and you don't have to run straight through the levels. You can stop and talk to people and even go inside buildings. Like Sonic Adventure DX, before you go to an actual level, you can walk around and explore, except there are more places to go to, such as:
Westopolis
Station Square
Mystic Ruins
Metropolis
Angel Island
Airport (Steal, or borrow a plane depends what side you're on)
We are also introducing a new series on chaos emeralds. These are the black emeralds. They are black and each one has different colored stripes going down the sides on the emerald. Example: Shadow has his own emerald that is black with red stripes on it. The Master Emerald is completely black. If Shadow or Lightning collect all seven of these emeralds, they can turn into their Chaos form. It is much more powerful than Super Form is. Shadow turns completely Silver (He still has his red stripes) and Lightning turns Gold (You can't see his stripes) And By the way, Lightning is not part of Project Shadow. Shadow and Prof. Gerald found him on Mobius, and Shadow actually saved his life. (He had been shot) He did not originally have powers, but he was given some of Shadow's DNA so that he would. So please tell me your opinions on this so far, Thanks ^^

Do you even have any experience in programming? It's fun to think up game designs (I know that from experience), but unless you can actually sit down and write code....

You should check out Segas new Sonic the Hedgehog game coming out for X-Box 360 and the new PS3 in November. The graphics look great and its getting great reviews.

What type of Program langauge are you using? If it's BASIC, I may be able to help if you get stuck. Although for a Video Game, I would use either C++ or Visual BASIC. (Unfortunately, I haven't studied either yet! Confused

)

I second this.

I like making game sprites and such all the time, but I have no knowledge in actully 'Coding' a game structure.

I know of some RPG maker things you can use, that has most of the programming written up for you.

well she just saying that she thought up a good idea for a new shadow game and maybe send her idea to the Sonic Team. Its not like she wants to create it all herself.

Thank you Nate06, no I'm not actually [i]Making[/i] a game, I'm just sending in the idea. but I am working on a mini game of it at a place that teaches me how to make video games(It's at a college for kids thing). and I'm working on maps, graphics, characters, and the story.

Um...you're gonna get sued, cause those are the Shadow Androids looks. So yeah. Anywho, just call Lightning, Light. Shadow and Light. Light would be the Shadow prototype and he would want revenge. Later in the game, Shadow would find out that Light killed Maria. Then Shadow would get so angry that he actually turns into his secret form. However, that will be in the secret ending. The secret form willl be called Chaosis Shadow. He will be red with gold stripes and he can do the charge attack, Chaosis Blast, which will be 50 times more powerful then Chaos blast and he will level all of Station Square. Shadow reverts back to his form and dies for real this time. Shadow's soul will go to heaven while his body would be taken to the Master Emerald to be restored to life.

No offence, but SEGA doesn't give a shit.

They get this stuff alllll the time, and the already have people being paid to do this. The best you can hope for is a lazy employee stealing your ideas and not giving you credit.

Sonic Team =/= Sega

It is a branch of sega, but that's beside the point. They used to have a Sonic Team website in english. It had alot of nice fanart in the PSO section, too. Neutral
