African American Anime?

I know its rare but does ne one know ne anime or manga series that have african american characters in them?
cause its been a question among some of my friends.
i kno it exists... just dont kno where.

I can think of some black anime characters, though not specifically African or Americ. :B lol politically correct terms. Anthy from Utena, Moonbay from Zoids, and, uh... there's like, 3 or 4 in Hunter x Hunter, though they're minor.

And a lot of Africans in YGO (lol, Egypt).

edit: Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo had dark skin, too.

lol well it doesnt exactly have to be "African American"
im just trying to find a character that looks like me..
im not exactly dark skined im more inbetween dark and medium.
curly brown hair, brown eyes.

Kougaiji-sama from Saiyuki!

That's the only one I know off the back of my hand. I have a character in the story I'm writing who's dark-skinned. It's disappointing, seeing how there are little characters who are like that.

And Sephir0th666777, what anime is that character from? She looks awesome.

It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.

Kaolla Su from Love Hina
Kagura (after her tan : Cool

from Azumaga Daioh
Aisha from Outlaw Star

And... Ed from Cowboy Bebop har dark-ish skin, but not super dark.

None of them have dark hair except Kagura, though.

Eureka SeveN has alot of different races portrayed rather well throughout the series. There's also a Black and Cuban guy who get along!

bleach is minority city. As well as the wonderful Yoruichi,(girl in the pic) you also get Chad and shunsui , the mexicans, kaname, the black guy, lot's of spanish terinology and a buttload of other things,

And the Boondocks is an awesome show. That parodies all the stupididty in the world. don't go dissing on it so lightly.
