They are such a good band............... Very Happy

Um...
I like their earlier stuff. "Dookie", mainly. Heard they put on a good show as well, by a few friends.
I'm not partial to American Idiot, or Warning. I dunno, it's just not great stuff to me.
The change in image sucks too.

Yea................... I like the style of music, and such............ I do really like the older stuff too...... Warning is a good song, in my opinion.............. My fav song would probably be Boulevard of Broken Dreams................ Good song, good song............... Smile

I like there older stuff, but there newer stuff is way too emo and Corprate Rock Sellout for me. They lack the origonalty they had before, they sound pretty much like every other top 40 PoS now.

Not truly good ones. Look a David Gilmour. He writes everything himself. All musicians start of unsigned and work hard to get signed, so they haveto write stuff them selves.

Green day has sold millions of albums and have been popular for over a decade. Asking if they have any fans is kind of pointless, because they are a very established band and I'm sure they have a lot of fans everywhere. Say what you will about them selling out, but if you go to a show of their's I'm sure you'll have a good time.

Ya know? I went to one of ther more recent shows and about 70% of the kids where little emo brats. The other 30% were older people who were fans before greenday became emo sellouts. About half of that 30% left. I was amoung them. They played only a few of there older songs.

That's too bad. Yes, I suppose a bad crowd can kill a concert and they were a lot better back in the 90's.
