Anime Themes

Even though I don't really keep up with Anime, I've got songs I still enjoy.

Openings:
Krasuer's Theme (opening to Fatal Fury II)
World Without Logos (Hellsing)
English 1st season Pokemon theme (English and Japanese)
Sailor Moon Theme
English Escaflowne Theme

Some of these I like because they're actually good songs, some just because they're cheesy as hell and bring up fond, nostalgic feelings.

Closing:
Tonari no Totoro
Japanese Pokemon closing
Oh Angel (Fatal Fury)

Those last two just because they're LAME BEYOND REASON.

Openings? Oh boy! "Tsubasa wa Pleasure Line" from Chrono Crusade is a must mention. It's a nice song with alot of background detail, I think. You have to wear headphones to hear the little things, but damn, that song is awesome.

"Kirameku Namida Wa Hoshi ni" and "Disillusion" from the Fate/Stay Night anime also deserve a mention. While many disliked the drastic change from the Jazzy styled Disillusion, to the Shonen-esque theme of Kirameku Namida Wa Hoshi ni, both of these themes suited the mood of the series at the times they were used.

As for Endings, "Anata ga Ita Mori" also from Fate/Stay Night is a nice Love song. Powerful lyrics and interesting vocal stylings on behalf of Jyukai. Though the On air version is much better with it's violin ending, the full version slaps you in the face with BLAHBLAHDICK halfway through.

"Invincible LOVE" from the Master of Mosquiton OVA was awesome. I have a strong love for this song, despite it being commonplace for a series of it's kind in the late ninties. Koyasu Takehito and Imai Yuka are the ultimate vocal duo. Cool

Hm, I'll add "Zone" by Ichiro Mizuki from "Transformers Zone" to my list.

Just so catchy, and the singer had one of those voices you just learn to love.

Spoiler: Shinjitsu no Uta (信実の歌）= Song of Truth. It's just translated, lol.

:V I've gone through so many favourites it's insane. Though I'm generally tuning into the sound of video games, let me see what I have (recently, anyway. I don't really wanna list every song I like @_@)...

If my Winamp playlist is telling the truth, then Kira's image song from GSEED Destiny ("Tomorrow") is pretty high up there. 8D I love Hoshi's voice, it's so cute. And this song is really sweet. :V I'm a sucker for love songs. ^^; I also rather like the .hack//ROOTS opening theme (enough to rip the song off the PV three days before the single came out 8D), Silly-Go-Round.

I have way too much music. @_@ The Fate/stay night themes are up there, too (disillusion, kirameku namida wa hoshi ni, anata ga ita mori, hikari). I just really like the tunes for the opening themes, and Jukai's voice is simply amazing when it comes to the ending themes. ^D^) I really like the Puchipuri OP/ED as well.

Ouran's Sakura Kiss is pretty high, too. 8D And "The Power of Love," from Master of Mosquiton... :B And though Nobuta wo Produce isn't an anime, I rather like the ending theme to that (Seishun Amigo), too. 8D SI ORETACHI WA ITSUDEMO FUTARI DE HITOTSU DATTA
