You think PS3 is too much money too buy one

But Sequels are half the reason people buy games. New games are hard to come by, as alot of the popular market are indeed, sequels, or games from roots many consoles ago. But when a good new game comes along...Assasin's Creed for example, they need to be at their very best in order to compete with the thousands who buy the sequels, expecting improvements on their past joys.

Isn't GTA 4 planned as PS3 exclusive? That's one of the best game series of all time, with some people, including myself flunking the age range and still riding around San Andreas on their jetpacks and constantly finding a little something, or inventing a mini game.

And besides, alot of people are rpeared to pay that much, more people than you'd think. Young people...Maybe not, but some people, who've stayed true to Sony will definately want the large games line up.

Knowing me I will get one but will prob not get one for a year or 2. I usually get the nintendo and the PS upgrades. The new ones I love what I'm hearing of them but sadly expensive and me having not much money means I won't have them anytime soon Sad

Plus theres no way I'm paying that amount for the PS3, rather wait anyways.

good idea. Im almost positive that it will not sell as big as Sony thinks, due to the price. Plus like any game system the price will drop. Only problem is if it sells a lot when it first comes out, then it may take some time.

I'd rather get a Wii (don't say it).... New gameplay and way cheaper. Wii = Super Smash Bros Brawl, LoZ: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers. All of those except SSBB will be available at launch.

Of course. And the more I think about it, the more I realize is this: If all works out with the new control scheme than it is only a matter of time before everyone who got a 360 and PS3 first will buy a Wii. You can get the same games on PS3 and 360 but you can't get games from Wii anywhere else.

That's not always true. Take, for example, Tales of Symphonia. True, it was only released on the GCN in NA, but it was also for the PS2 in Japan. :0 The only ones I can think of [that I'd be remotely interested in] that will always be for Nintendo are Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda. :X

It goes either way guys. Some game(take halo for example) are only released for one system, but many other games will be universal for all or most systems.

...Because none of the other systems have the Wii's precise motion-sensing. Games built around the motion-sensing mechanics simply won't transfer over to the other consoles. Even if they were rebuilt using a standard control scheme, the Wii's unique [i]experience[/i] wouldn't be there.

My point was that you wouldn't be able to directly port games from 360 and PS3. The Wii's new controller wouldn't allow for it. That, and the fact that Wii's graphics are severly weaker than 360 and PS3.

I've never been much for graphics - sprites are still the best~ <3 Cel shaded stuff is pretty good, too, when done well.

But anyway, if you ask me it still just boils down to which games you want to play. The technical stuff isn't worth anything when you're getting something with no games you want. Wii's got the innovation for really awesome party games, but the PS3's got the rpgs. 8O Not only that, but games can be constructed to have a perfectly new "controller" to suit that game - like DDR's dance pad and that drumming game's... drums. :V

So that's why I'ma whore myself out for the PS3. 8D Summon Night~ <3

It should, but it may have to have an upgrade package like the X-box 360. Hardrive? I dont know. Check out some of the websites to find out.

Well, I mean it makes sense seeing the Sony should try create a better system then there competitor Microsoft. It would be a heck of a lot more convenient if it played PS2 games as well.

The PS3 is supposed to be able to play PS1 and PS2 titles "on-the-chip" (meaning full backwards compatibility, no emulator needed like on the 360), [i]however[/i], [b]it will NOT be backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 memory cards[/b].
