Any Sonic Fans?

I liked Sonic. The way it was. Sonic Battle and Heroes kind of got me out of it. But than I played Sonic Rush on my DS and i'm liking it again. If it can go back to its roots and stays that way than i'll probably get into it again. The Wii one looks really good, while the PS3 and 360 ones look like Heroes with better graphics and only one character...

yeah, well this new game they are bringing out is not set to be a whole new game, but rather a game based on the roots of sonic.

they are all the same plus i went to japan and sonic on ssbb(supersmashbrosbrawl also go to wii vs ps3 vs xbox 360.com

Sounds like it, doesn't it? I sure hope it's gonna be a good game. It's highly popular... the new character Silver already has fanart though he's only just been introduced.

Yeah, that'd be a real disappointment otherwise. All these fancy adverts, real hard effort to promote and suddenly... it's not as good as everyone imagined.

I hope you're right too. I'd hate all this attention for a game that wasn't as good as everyone hoped.

It's just occured to me that some of the Sonic fans are quite shallow. Characters like Big and Storm are hated a lot... and Silver seems to be getting a whole bunch of attention and fans, even without us knowing what he acts like. Peculiar (sp?), no?

You mean, sort of like the movie Corpse Bride?
With advertisements, they try to make things appear a whole lot better than they are...you won't know until you play the game, though.

That's very true, adverts always put a shiny, glossy coat on their products. I'm not so sure about this new Sonic game though, all this attention already?

Just think of all the attention the Mario games get almost a whole year before they come out...and they're not always very entertaining games, either.

I think Sonic is probably at the end of its run.

Yeah, but this new game seems like a big deal. Many people are interested in the new release. The screenshots and videos look great, but who knows if that will be what it actually looks like when your behind the screen playing it for yourself.

We may never know, we'll have to wait until November 17th at least before we find out. With all this attention it's getting, it better be good!

That's when the PS3 comes out... I think. Sonic the Hedgehog Next-Gen is supposed to be released on the same day as the actual console.

Really? Ive heard that PS3 will still be in development till next year in 07. The game Sonic the Hedgehog however comes out on November 17th for both PS3 and 360. So, the game will only be available when PS3 comes out into market obviously.

Well, we may never know about the release date to be honest. I thought Sonic Riders would be out in February... but in the UK, it didn't come out until March. The USA always gets things before the UK, so the approximate release date I could get from looking at a USA release date. I just heard November 17th.

well i hadnt just heard about thwe release date, i checked deep into it and found that the date is in fact november 17th. I live in the U.S. so it may come out the date it says it does.
