What kind of music do you play? Lemme know, then I'll vote. Here's what they make me think of, though:

Crimson Sky: Nice imagery, I agree. Makes me think it'd be a dark, moody band.

The Last Orphan: A "pity me" emo band.

Azure Dreams: Kind of makes me think of Creed in a "holier than thou" way. A little pretentious. As for the style, it sounds like a mellow band.

Scarlet Tears: Another dark, moody band, probably based around deep, thoughtful lyrics.


They're all very "poetic"-ish names, which makes one think of some kind of artsy kid band. So if that's what you are, good job. You'll probably go through various names, depending on how long you stick with it and such (Spectres to Paris to Poison. Hollywood Rose to Guns n' Ammo to Guns n' Roses, etc. etc. etc.).

But again, what do ya play? (and if anyone in the band has a cool name, that always makes interesting band names ie Van Halen, Ashba, etc.)

We also got a new name to add to it, "Frozen Dreams"

Well we were going to do emo, because it's the easiest to write and s**t, but now we're doing punk rock, and we had a major loss of songs (That Kate wrote that were emo) cuz 2 out of like 5 people refuse to do Emo, but that was like the bass and lead guitar, so that kinda sucks. Here's the lyrics to one of our new songs...

Like the "adjective noun" names, don't ya?

If you're doing emo, any of those (except The Last Orphan) I think would be fine. They're all very dramatic.

But if you're leaning towards punk rock, they all sound kind of, er, I don't know how to put it. Soft? The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones (I never noticed how many "the" punk bands there are until now)...all sound very punk rock-ish.

Suppose you could always start a new trend, though.

Not sure "it's easiest to write and shit" is a great way to pick your genre, but who knows. It could work.

Yeah, I didn't write that, I only came up wit the title, lol, my name is Jake btw. Yeah, anyway, we were going to do Emo, cuz Kate had a bunch of Emo like poems done that we were going to use as songs, but then Pizzaro and the Bass player started bitching about how they don't wanna do emotional s**t or whatever. So yeah, we might have our style, inono.

Play however you want, just don't advertise yourselves as emo. It's a very tiring trend. You'll get people jumping on the emo bandwagon and the other half hating you without hearing a note.

The last Orphan isn't a game but there is a PS2 game called "Orphan"
