Green Day sold out big time. Billie Joe used to shred, though. Wouldn't mind hearing that.
Linkin Park is the same song over and over again.

Amazingly enough, most bands who have incredibly annoying singers tend to have guitarists that have decent amounts of talent.
Prime example: Simple Plan.
Bad band.
The guitarist can sweep arpeggios. It's not an easy thing to do, but for the genre, it's not exactly an open option. If you can sweep arpeggios, you can solo very well.

The only truly worthy bands on that list are Pink [b]Floyd[/b], and green day. And green Day is shit now, they were great untill they because corprate rock sell outs. MCR is emo crap, fall out boy is softcore emo shit, and Linkin Park is... neh. Nothing. Black eyed Pea's are rap and IMO rap is all crap (no racical slur intended in that). Gorillaz is just werid and lame. Who the hell is Gwen Stefani?

They're basically just alternative. Their earlier stuff was funk, then funk rock, now...basically alternative rock.
But if you like the Peppers, you gotta like Sublime.

MCR isn't even emo. It's just pop rock. It's kinda sad to hear people talk about how they're a huge fan of emo and all they listen to is MCR.

No Dead Poetic? They're pretty good. I haven't heard anything other than "New Medicines" though.
Hawthorne Heights came here and the general reaction was...disappointment. They either just had a shitty night or they're not a live band.
