I used to listen to their music a lot, not as much anymore. They seem to be generally hated by just about everyone so I'm not surprised there no fans here. Back in the day, they were in the WWF and WCW wrestling organizations, so a lot of wrestling fans like myself were fans of them. Basically why people like them so much is just because they represent the average scrubby 16-30 white trash male. They aren't particularly talented but people can relate to them. Their music is basically funny and people shouldn't take them too seriously or anything. |

This is too easy. I'll leave it up to our newer members. Like a mother lion, I leave this one wounded and bleeding so that my young may precisely hone their flamer skills, as to be ready for when a real challenge is presented to them.
Make me proud.<3 _________________

Have you ever seen the documentary Merchants of Cool? There's a small section in it where they attend an old ICP concert when they were just a local underground group with hardcore fans, and two of the members answered the questions on camera saying they represented the indie group for the fans and would "never go commercial". Before the documentary was even finished, they'd been signed to a label and started producing their first album and merch line.
Be as corporate as anyone else, but don't pretend you aren't. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
