is it normal for a fear to upset you even if it is a normal object
for example im afraid of spiders in every sence i hate seeing them in RL on TV even fake spiders or spider pics on my PC
is it normal and does that happen to you

Maggots and maggot-like things.

Though that's not so much a fear as an outright disgust.

Some people are just afraid of things that are justified (spiders, falling, bugs) due to human nature sending warnings about things.

Yeah, I hate maggots too...but they don't bother me as much as they would seeing as I grew up going to a farm on weekends and seeing dead cows in the back covered in maggots.
The only times I've freaked out from maggots is one time when I was playing baseball, I was in the field and a maggot was on my arm, one was on my glove, and another on my leg.
And one time I came home from being camping for a week and the garbage hadn't been taken out...there were maggots leaking out of the garbage and onto the floor Neutral

I'm mostly afraid of certain clowns/mascots, certain types of pain/injuries, people touching me, and murky water.

I used to have a mealworm nest in my room. and they were in the cereal. I didn't eat cereal or Kraft Dinner for years because you'd always find worms in it.

I still get scared in the dark because of a traumatism in my childhood.
I hate spiders but I can deal with it..
And I found out that I'm scared of being weak beause of a dream.

Tapeworms
Wood ticks
Parasites in general...really freak me out.

i dont really have many fears, but strangly i have a fear of heights, when im 179 cm tall... maybe i just live in fear all the time XD

im not afraid of death very much so, but i piss myself when i see maggots, or really wierd catapillers

i have a fear of earthquakes..... mama had me watch some documentery on em when i was bout 6 and it showed people falling out of buildings and them collapsing and crap.... tramatized my poor lil brain and now i refuse to go to cali lol
