Violet from tekken....I don't know what to say about that name. Apple from the Suikoden series has a dumb name. Apple. What a fruit. Also, anyone ever played Lunar Silver Start Story (Or what ever it's called) Did you notice when a character becomes paralyzed, instead of just saying paralyzed it says "Stoned" W00t!

Now, Squaresoft(back when it -was- still squaresoft) put all of their name sillyness in overdrive for a little unknown gem called 'brave fencer musashiden', prequel to the slightly more well known musashi samurai legend

Everyone's name was a play on words dealing with food.

They lived in a place called allucaneet kingdom, which houses a palace of the same name, which is home to the likes of 'Steward Ribson', 'butler livers', 'princess fillet', 'knight and soldier lardwick, and 'mercenary meitlofe', just to name a few.

in opposition to the good and apparently well fed kingdom is the 'thirstquencher empire', whose leader 'fuhrer flatski' takes up residence in a floating fortress so aptly named 'soda fountain' along with his daughters 'brandy'(dubbed gingerelle in the states) and bubbles. the ambitious general 'capricola' and seargent 'rootrick' answer to the fuhrer and seek to foil musashi in his quest for ther five scrolls, although the general thought it would be cool to not do anything for the first half of the game and actualy help our vertically challenged hero wirking under the alias 'jon' which should have seemed suspicious from the get-go seeing as how he was the only person in 'grillin' villiage' with a name not relating to food.

Actually, Guy is a rather popular name... I've seen it quite a few times now, so it doesn't really bother me... had his name in Fire Emblem.

And object-names aren't always ridiculous. Dagger, Dart, Jet, etc... I think people actually rather like those names. ...Or it's just me. :/

I think here's a triplet:
A set of minor characters from Tales of Symphonia-
First the grandmother, named Marble.
Then, the mother, Cacao.
Then, the annoying little girl, Chocolat.
One horrible family.

And while were on the subject of my immaturity, Genis from tales of Symphonia. Because you all know what Genis rhymes with!

Barret (FFVII) always made me smile, because Barret pronounced in Swedish means the pine-needle or old Stockholm-slang for the haircut.

I got Lost in Blue a while back. In the game you're a boy and you find a girl. My brother, Keith and I thought you got to name them.
So when the two nameless characters were introducing themselves. (I was watching Keith play, who got ahead of me.) It turned out the boy was named Keith and the girl was named Sky. (The two EXACT names, my brother was going to name them!)
We laughed our @sses off. ^_^
