I've downloaded the CD-rom version... I'm guessing the paper one is superior because this one simply doesn't make sense.
wahhhh - how do you read this?
and PS. I might ask you for some baseball manga doujinshis, the actual manga looks like crap, but the doujinshis are cute.
Somewhat related question; How many Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu doujinshi are there?
Hm, I haven't found a Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu section in the catalog yet, but I'll bet one of my friends has already found it. He's a Haruhi nut - here's a picture of the doujin he snagged from a smaller comic con a few weeks ago. Guess I'll drop him a line about that...

Heh, actually, the paper version looks exactly the same. And it makes perfect sense, although I absolutely abhor the Japanese version of 'alphbetical order', where you'll find circles like Happy Branch, 8686, BBC, and Bud all grouped under the same letter (ha). D: But that only matters for the circle listings, not the locations themselves.
Aaaanyway, if you can find a map of the convention space, things might make more sense. There are three halls - two east halls and one west hall, and each hall is filled with rows and rows of tables. The tables are all ordered by letter, whether it be Japanese hiragana, katakana, or English letters. There's so many rows that it takes a crapload of letters to enumerate them all. I think there are about 52 tables per row, so that's where the numbers come in. In the page you posted, we're looking at the circles that are taking up the first 17 tables in the シ row of the east hall 4-5-6 area on Friday, the 11th. Every table seats two circles, so that's why there's only a number in every other box. The little box at the top of each circle cut is generally where you'll find the circle's name. And then the picture in the middle will generally explain what the circle is offering, although some will give more information than others.
BTW, the art in シ-12B looks awfully cute. :3 |

Yeah, I think I'll...
can you look around and get me about 3-5 doujinshis of that manga please? Heck, I don't even know what the manga's even about. But I know that 80 percent of doujinshis that comes out of it is prettier than the manga itself, and it's the ONLY manga that Tsukumo Gou made fan doujinshi out of, so I think it's worth checking into.
I can't stand BL Fluff, so a serious or humourous story with good artstyle, I trust your judgement.
So those and the Comiket catalogue, I love you. <3
PM me their shipping and the doujinshi cost, and preferred address, I'll send you money order issued by Royal Bank of Canada ASAP, I'll add more for your inconvinience.
I'm getting paid 1100 dollars this month from my part time job, love. <3 _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

I get paid slightly more than that, and I'm working fulltime. ;~; USD, granted, but still. Interns get paid dirt-cheap, I guess.
Hah, that baseball manga is stupidly popular and I don't even know what it's called. It's got like, three full aisles to itself.
Mmkay, so several baseball-series-with-no-same doujin for Brian, Star Platinum for Brad, something Summon Night Ex Thesis for Fayore... I think I'm all set. No final requests from anyone else, right? Now let's just pray that I can get shinkansen tickets on the fly tomorrow so that I can actually make it up to Tokyo in time. And as soon as that's over, I'm headed straight to Hiroshima to hang around with some other summer interns. It's gonna be a busy week and I'm going to be so damn poor by the end of it. x_x;
But it's Comiket, so that makes everything worth it. <3 |

If you can't find anything, you could get me a copy of Star Platinum, too.
I don't mind if you can't find anything. ^^; Afterall, I'm the one asking for the favor. D;
I've noticed that a lot of SN artists are in the 西2 たー, etc. area. :0
..!!
西2 たー10A: 「イモらーめん」 has Haya/Kir stuff, and 西2 たー13A: 「B-SKY」has Maou Hayato...
Uuu... How much do you think shipping'll come around to? :V
ETA: on the 11th, looks like Imo (Emo? XD) Ramen'll be at 東3 ケ-40b on the 12th. :V ...IDON'TKNOWI'LLSTOPTALKINGNOW. |

Doujin circles are grouped by genre, so finding the SN artists is no problem. I got it all mapped out.
Sadly, I sent packages last year and have no memory of how much they cost me. Maybe $10 or so because Japan is cruel and expensive when it comes to shipping via airmail. Hah, I could be evil and wait to ship when I get back to the States in December. |

I'm baaaaaack! Oh man, Comiket was totally awesome again this year. Best thing ever. Anyway, I hope you guys like what I got. Prepare for some bandwidth-sucking photos of doom.
Well, here we have it. Purchases for j00!

I walked into the Summon Night area and my eyes were immediately drawn to this one doujin. It was gorgeous, and the content inside looked amazing too. I put it down and decided to find this "Star Platinum" book that Brad wanted, wandered around for a bit, and then realized that I had been flipping through it earlier. I somehow hadn't bothered to read the title. Anyway, since it was the hands-down best Summon Night Ex Thesis book out there, I got a copy for Fayore as well.
Brian, I have to apologize to you in advance. The series you were interested in features lots of guys, so EVERYONE who draws doujin for the series is female, and most of the doujin were blergh, uber-shoujo. And they all used the sort of shoujo style that I hate, so it was hard to find something just decent-looking. I picked up some books that are more in the style that you like, but I'm not so sure about the content. One is comedy, and the other two are more serious. Kind of fluffeh though, I think. Well, one moreso than the other. I tried. *cries* Anyway, to make it up for you, I picked up a Mushishi doujin as well. It's more comic than serious, but looks pretty good. I'm going to read it before I send it your way. XD
Fayore, I did not forget your request for Pokemon movie posters. Unfortunately, since the movie's already been released, it's been pretty difficult to find related advertising. I did see a train covered in Pokemon artwork, but I didn't have time to take a picture of it. Anyway, here, have a horrible picture that I took at 1 in the morning after some serious karaoke-ing.

Oh, and a random bonus picture to make you drool. Behold, the most amazing Mushishi stationery that I have ever laid eyes upon.

Okay, so it was the only Mushishi stationery that I've ever seen, but still, you cannot deny that it is amazing!
If anyone is interested in seeing a full Comiket report, then you might like to check out my photos. Be forewarned that most of my Comiket purchases were Pop'n Music-related because I am a hopeless fangirl when it comes to that sort of thing.

*Drool*
OMG, that Mushishi Stationary is hawt. People are probably never gonna use them for their intended purpose because of that. XD
I'm so excited, I've never actually touched a doujin, or seen it real life. that Baseball manga seems to have a humongous doujin fanbase who draws better than the manga artist him/herself. I'm interested to find out why.
Rindi, pm me with when, where, and how much you want to be paid. I'll send the money order issued from RBC to you so you can cash it. Thanks for everyting. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Yeah, I loved the Mushishi stationary, too. <3 I'm scared to handle that kind of stuff though because I's afraid that I'll accidentally bend it or something. @_@
So, yeah. PM me, too, about payment details and such. I'll go down to the bank on my day off (whenever that is, I just started a new job and the management hasn't told me yet @_@) and get things figured out. :B Thank you~ <333 ;A;
I'll start to get the Okami OST uploaded for you, too. <3
...Wow, the new Pokemon keep on getting cuter and cuter... (HOMG it's a white-haired bishouuuunen~ the photocopier is still warm. :V)
Oh, right. Blad's been suspended for two weeks, so she likely won't be seeing this message anytime soon. Do you have any messages that you want us to pass on? :0 |
