Hate SOaD, and Adam Gontier? Three Days Grace sounds like all pther emo shitters trying to sound like bad religion or Black Flag or Minor Threat. He cant sing, and he was no HONEST emotion in his voice, its all fake. Lisitan to Kurt Cobain and Nirvana (Mainly the Unplugged) to hear vocals with truly honest emotion.

Kurt did read the lyrics, he was shitty pronouncation, I'll admit, but atleast he beleaved what he was singing. HIS VOICE HAD FUCKING HEART! Call it an affilation with Punk, but music has to have a message in it or I won't like it. (Though I really do like some of the riffs and harmonys the older metal, and classic rock bands made, theres just no meaning to it)

Chill out, take some of your pills, and realise that just because you say you don't care doesn't mean people won't voice there opinions.

Fair enough. I deserved that... But I didn't mention those people as great male singers because of their message. I AGREE. THREE DAYS GRACE IS A BUNCH OF FRIKKIN CREEPY EMO PEOPLE..... So? When I sing, people don't know what im saying, and the only drug like things I take are meds, when I need them, or some wine with dinner and cigs. Its not that much.

eatURmusic, I have a very good advise for you if you want to keep coming to FAC's music area happily.

First, you can't possibly say that you like emo bands but you think emos are creepy... And its very probable that you like emo sh*t because thats what you find popular at this time within your friends or school, but always remember that popular isn't always good.

I disagree on Zekk's point about messages having to do with this thread, because this thread is for the singing and the voices and not so much about the messages, but i agree on the fact that Kurt's singing holds a lot of emotion while ironically most emo bands lack that feeling and that emotion that great singers can show.

Second, Zekk wasn't making fun of "[i]your[/i]" taste in music, he was just making a point on the thread wich you should read, and if you really didn't care you wouldn't have answered in such an aggressive way.

Third, how the hell do you know that kurt was almost never not on drugs? did you constantly talk to him, were you a close relative or what? Are you just talking about the unplugged MTV thing you saw and the smells like teen spirit video you downloaded from limewire?

Please, get your facts right or shut up.

Fourth, do you understand screamo/emo bands' lyrics? Or SOAD's heavier stuff where daron and serj just scream like imbeciles? Or even Corey Taylor's screams that you said you liked!? I seriously doubt it, so don't take that position on Cobain's singing.

Last but not least stop double posting

I will admit, I did answer a bit sggresivly. I shouldn't have been yelling at people because they didn't like my comment. That was wrong of me, and I'm new to the forums, so that was one learning experience.

Second of all, this is to you Ogrim_Doomhanger... Im not saying the emo bands are good. I'm not saying I like emo music. I just like some songs by emo people. I strongly dissagree with the lifestyle emo people choose. And I don't think emo is popular in school because anyone in my school that is emo is usually an idiot to me. So I hate them. . . . .

Next point. I was just saying I've never seen Kurt Cobain NOT on drugs. I never said I accually saw him often. I just don't like his music and I was stating my opinion. And I've never watched MTV. (it's pointless to me.) so I don't follow what everyone else says.

Third and final point. I do indeed know what the bands are saying. And I will admit that sometimes Corey and Daron and even Serj, sound just as bad as Kurt. I understand that. But it's the music I choose, and that's the music you choose so we really aren't that different in that area. But that's beside the point.

My overall point is that I do know that System and Slipknot and all those other bands are idiots. Every singer is an idiot at times. Whether it be because they're on drugs or they're emo.

I'm not gonna kepp up this argument because I do agree, me and Zekk have argued our way through most of the forum. I'll leave this for people to post and so I'm not getting on everyone's nerves anymore. Thank you both accually, you did point out my wrongs and I'm sorry for them.
