A probably good colors suggestion

Maybe we could be a little more white into this site for the lovers of the old site like me. Who's with me? Wink

The gray took some getting used to at first, but now I like it. I say stick with the gray.

However, another site I was on recently changed their layout, but they have a dropdown layout list under profile options that lets people use the original if they wish.

We could always make a compromise and offer options for different shades of neutral. No neons or anything, but at least [i]some[/i] options for those who like different tones.

Uh, no idea what you mean by that. I wasn't referring to the current colors.

Choosing profile colors leads to the god awful state Sheezy Art was and probably still is in. I don't know if they fixed the issue of neon pink pages with yellow text, but there were a lot of them. Any site that lets users choose the layout colors proves why they shouldn't on an art site. MySpace, LiveJournal, SA, any of those.

DA now lets you customize your journal, but you at least have to know how to use CSS to do it.

Bipolar: Seeing everything in black or white, with no shades of gray or any middle ground between them.

Offering different color schemes is [b]not[/b] the same thing as letting users specify their own colors; for example, we could have a range of (staff-approved) colors from which users could select their own.

Furthermore, letting users specify a color for [i]everyone[/i] to see on [i]their[/i] profile page, or specifying a color for [i]them[/i] (alone) to see on [i]every[/i] page they visit, are different options too.

well I mean you can pick the colors, grey and silver, black and white, white and blue. The FAC colors. Or all combined...
