My favorite show!

Do you all think it's hilarious, or is it just me....?

------------

For n00bs to the show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?", or "Whose Line?" for short, is an unscripted improv game show/comedy in which four performers make up skits based on Drew Carey's (the host) cue cards or the audience. Skits may include an audience member providing sound effects for the performer, moving them around, singing songs, and the like. Points are awarded, which Drew claims "The points don't matter". At the end of the show, he picks a "winner", and he does a skit with them. As the credits roll, Drew picks a person or persons to read them, while acting out a skit, such as reading the credits as wrestlers, etc.

The show is totally unscripted, no teleprompters.

Performers on the show include the host, Drew Carey, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and Wayne Brady. There is a "revolving" fourth chair, in which the actor is on the show at random. These performers include Denny Siegal, Kathy Greenwood, Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood, Chip Esten, and least often, Jeff Davis, Karen Maruyama, Kathy Kinney, and Josie Lawrence.

There has been several guest stars on the show, such as Lassie the dog, Richard Simmons, Hugh Hefner, Whoopi Goldberg, Stephen Colbert, and Robin Williams.

The show is rated PG for language and some situations. Parental guidance is suggested.

This show is currently broadcasted on ABC Family, every weeknight at 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM (times Eastern). Fridays, they have a marathon which starts at 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

For the English version, it is broadcasted on the satellite channel, BBC America.

That show is so hilarious! I watch it any chance I get. And Wayne Brady sure can sing!

^_^

I like all the performers, except for Kathy Greenwood.

But, my all-time favorites, in order, are:

1. Colin Mochrie
2. Ryan Stiles
3. Greg Proops
4. Jeff Davis

Who're yours?

------

About Wayne Brady, yes, the guy can definitely sing, no doubt about it. Very Happy

Good lord, it's about time. I've been out of the fandom so long I didn't even know they were finally releasing one. Good to see Jeff getting some well deserved love too.

The Brad/Chip/Jeff combo will always be more amazing and funnier than Wayne could ever hope to be, even if it was never a possibility on tv.

If it's uncensored, will it include the "too hot for whose line" episodes too? Laughing Ah, just season one so far. Meh. Better than nothing, I suppose.

I GOT THE DVD!! Very Happy It has the first 10 episodes. It has Brad, Denny, Greg, Karen, and Kathy Kinney in the DVDs.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

--------

By the way, the uncensored Gag Reels 1 and 2 from the DVD are a must-watch. I don't really wanna spoil it for ya, but there's TONS of STRONG language, and vulgar situations you miss from regular episodes, games that were not included in the episode. It's like a reel of clips. Here's four examples:

1: Drew Carey saying "F--- America!:
2: Ry and Col's ALMOST French kiss.
3: Greg saying, "Drew, F--- YOU!"
4: Ryan during a Hoedown singing, "If I do other Hoedown, I will slit my f---ing wrist."

Those and more were so funny. You're missing out if you don't get the DVD.

lolz Wow. Never thought I'd see a Jeff avatar, even from big fans. Although I guess he went on to be on the green screen show too, didn't he? I think I only watched that once, but "back in the day" (like it was that long ago) when he only had four (then eight) little episodes, even people who watched all the time had no idea who he was or only knew "that guy who raided Greg's closet".

I probably still have all his failed projects recorded on vhs back home. The Downer Channel and On The Spot.

I'm so young there. Shocked Such a pity.

There's another with him in a great Motley Crue shirt, but I have no idea where. And maybe one in a New York Dolls one too. I tend to remember him by what band he wore/talked about. Rolling Eyes

This thread makes me feel old. Everyone here knows me as a hair metal person, but I started out drawing comedians/WL people. And came here from a WL community. Kickin' it oldschool, yo.

I never even seen those. Crying or Very sad

I saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood LIVE at the "An Evening With Colin & Brad Show" a couple weekends ago in Raleigh, NC, at the Raleigh Progress Energy Memorial Auditorium. They rocked!! Very Happy I get to go to Charlotte, NC, and see them again on November 16. Luckily I live three hours away from the event!

------------------------

By the way, you're lucky to meet Jeff Davis. That's a good picture!

I rave about Jeff all the time (my dad says he's GAY. O.O ). I squeal when I watch "Whose Line?" and he comes on.

I went to the Colin and Brad Show last night in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. That city is way too huge to what I'm used to. It's JUST LIKE New York City, also with those trolley buses. Too huge for me. Shocked

Anyways, I'm posting because, this is my second time going to the show. It was still funny as ever. Colin and Brad did a lot of games from the last show, except instead of "Scene to Rap", they did a game called "Interrogation". Look in my siggy to see a quote from this game. Laughing

When the show was getting ready to be over, Colin and Brad did their little farewell song, which is very beautiful, and nearly brings tears to my eyes. I found out the song they sing is just like the Frank Sinatra song, My Way, but with different verses.

When the song was almost over, my dad and I left to leave to go find the stage door. We did, and we stood outside waiting for Brad and Colin to appear. We waited nearly 30 mins. for them to come out, and a small crowd was gathering.

When they finally appeared, I near about peed my pants. 0_o' They said hello to everyone, and started signing autographs (Brad and Colin are left-handed, F.Y.I.), and posing for pictures.

I finally got my chance, and I asked Colin if I could take a picture with me and them. He said, "No.", but was just playing. I'm proud to say that Mr. Monkey and Captain Hair touched my back. Very Happy

They also gave me their autographs.

I have had the best time ever!!

Okay.

This first picture is ME with Colin and Brad:

The second is their autographs:

Brad still has the most bizarre signature ever. I don't know where mine are by now, but I remember him writing...something legibly (completely forget what) and then that squiggle of a signature. lolz

Does anyone know if they still do Improv All-Stars?

Anyways, I'm thinking about going to another Brad & Colin show. I've been 2 times already. First in Raleigh, NC. The second in Charlotte, NC.
