Yes, that is an emotional movie. I cried at the end when Jack died.

the two lead characters couldn't act well enough to make me feel any kind of emotion throughout the movie. And the fact that the movie ended with a whimper doesn't help it's case.

Okay so I assume you are talking about the 1997 Titanic . I was like 15 when that movie came out and a major Leonardo DiCaprio fan. Like.. a huge fan..All of my walls were covered with his face.. there wasn't a bare spot in my room. Even my ceiling was full of his pictures.. so when i ran outta room I started hanging pictures with strings from the ceiling. Gross huh. Anyway as much of a fan as I was... and as much as I wanted to cry at the fact that he croaks at the end of the movie.... I couldn't. The 13 times I saw the movie in the theater it never got to me once... the only thing that got to me was the annoying people in the audience sniffling.

I think it was because of the acting... well I know it was. I went a few years without seeing it and I bought the dvd 2 years ago. When I saw it I just couldn't figure out what I had ever liked about the movie. The acting is horrible.... but I'm not sure they could of done any better with the script the were given. Maybe one of DiCaprios worst performances... .. I think he may have even been better in Critters 3.

It wasn't sad when he died, I didn't feel any real 'life' coming from Leo's character to begin with.

i havent seen it since i was really little, but i remember crying, dispite not understanding most of it...i just knew the guy died and i was sad...
