do girls like anime aswellas boys

anime's been my life for eight years about and I am female. I love anime because of the art and story lines. The lines flow very easily throughout. The stories are so diversed they can reach anyone and everyone.

I*m a girl and I love manga and anime, and I like boyz who r in to it 2.
But, I don*t know any of them. Boyz from my country call manga and anime STUPID cause they think manga/anime r 2 simple. Shocked

They love fantasy, D*n*D, Hamerfall and stuff like that Rolling Eyes

well, if they dont like it, get them to try and draw in manga/ anime style and see how well off they can do. Usually if someone says that something is stupid it's because they can't do whatever it is they say is stupid.
and not just draw in anime/manga style, draw and entire comic. Now that's going to be hard to do. The pictures on the page have to be balanced and placed interestingly on the page as well as making sense in the direction you read it in

I used to like anime. My dad would always point out how simple the animation is, and I never believed him until I sat back and actually took a look at the drawings and animations. Then I saw these Americans trying to copy the style, and realized they're just lazy.

The thing is, anime is very cheap to animate because they don't use as many frames as most cartoon series in the U.S.

I stopped being interested in anime a couple years ago. I'm only interested in a select few, such as Cromartie High and Death Note (manga).

tons of girls do, when i was 7 or something i watched DBZ and everyone made fun of me for liking "boy shows" which is a term they used for action shows. It's a sterio-type that a lot of people assume, but there are a gazillion fangirls out there!!

oh, and just about EVERYONE probabl;y watched pokemon or digimon ( which i still watch...ahem... )

I believe females do make up the majority.

I would watch DBZ, Sailor Moon and Pokemon as a kid, but my guy friends never watched any anime that I know of.

A fan character that plays a main role in a fanfic and usually has a horrible past. They usually also fall in love with one of the characters from the original series :/
