Hard choice. Of those, I guess I vote for Love In An Elevator.
But I like Walk On Water better. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Personally, I'd have to say my fave songs are "Sweet Emotion", "Jaded", "Dream On", "Dude Looks Like a Lady", and "Walk This Way (With Run DMC)" as my top songs. |

Steven Tyler seems to be having a lot of health problems lately. I know he recently had to cancel some stops on their tour due to his throat surgery and he recently claims to have Hepatitis C. |

Everyone in rock has hep of some form. They just don't admit it. Along with herpes.
Steve's old, pushes his body to exhaustion constantly, and has about twenty years of drugs catching up. The voice will probably go first, different at least, then the physical stamina. Until then...viva la aero! _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I really liked Jaded. That was like the most popular song when I was in 7th grade. The music video is pretty cool too. _________________ I have magical female powers

So do I. It's a great song. I think I Don't Want to Miss a Thing is a very pretty song, too. |

I Don't Want to Miss a Thing shouldn't count as an Aerosmith song.
It was written by some sappy movie jingle writer for the film, and the guys didn't want to do it until Steven screened the movie, and that scene where Liv is saying goodbye to her dad suckered him into doing it.
If it was sung by the backstreet boys, everyone would think it sucked. Same song, just without the Aerosmith cool. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

It's a VERY pretty song, I'll have to agree with you, Kitzy.
But, I love Sweet Emotion. For some reason, that song just wants to make me get up and dance. I don't why. It's a very good song.
Walk This Way (With Run DMC) is another good song. I liked it. They were awesome singing together. |

It's sappy as hell for an aero song.
It's completely their own fault, but they've been terribly represented for the past decade. Don't want to miss a thing, girls of summer, jaded, just push play....ugh. Honkin' on Bobo was a small step up, but only 'cause they sank so far.
Live, they're still amazing. As far as writing goes, they've pretty much lost it. And I'd blame that on the fact they all hate each other with a passion but have managed to be civil enough to stay together. But songwriting? Forget about it. Sobriety always fucks up the good bands.
(and on the topic of Don't want to miss a thing...I wouldn't mind if they did it for a quick buck and 'cause Steven liked the movie, the problem is that it's complete garbage compared to the songs that are actually theirs, and yet it's every other person's favorite. wtf.) _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. OMG. I had the same feeling. But I didn't know that the band members hate each other. See, I just got into Aerosmith recently, and I didn't know all of this. |

Ah, Aero has a long, sordid history together... There's lots of bio information out there. But all you really have to see is what a dog and pony show their act is now. They all have their demands, half the time they're talking to each other through a crew member, egos egos egos...
BUT, at least they're smarter than all the other bands, in that they know that none of them would do as well on their own as they do together. They recognize that Aerosmith works and is more fun than struggling with some little solo band.
The quality of the new music has suffered for it, though. At their worst, they still produce things worth listening to. But it'll never be like they were at their best. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Okay. I have two questions.
Question One: Does Steven Tyler really have throat cancer?
Question Two: Liv Tyler is Steven's daughter, right? |
