I think maybe that the admin wanted FAC to look "more professional", like DeviantArt. That's just a hunch. |

But there's a difference between looking professional and looking almost like DA. Since you can give a website a professional look and feel without making it look gray. |

Nutral color scheme was chosen to make the art stand out more and look better.
Most online art sites use a neutral color scheme.
If you want the old blue color-scheme go to funart-central.net |

It's hard to provide a neutral color that isn't gray. We discussed a few color schemes early on but couldn't agree on much of anything.
But if you like the blue and white better, as denis says, check out FAC's little sister site, www.funart-central.net. That's right, "Fun"art central. Yes, it's something of a pun and has only one letter difference from FAC. But the color scheme is pretty nostalgic. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Beige or sepia can work too from a neutrality point of view but don't really look as good IMO. |

Yeah, 'cause for the record I voted french grey. Which is basically beige. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
