Great Name

You all know 'em. The band you hear about and think "dude, I bet they're awesome!"...and then you hear them. A perfectly good band name wasted on such worthless crap. So what bands do you think have great names but utterly suck? Or what bands have names that just don't fit their tunes? (so if you like them but don't think the name fits, list those too)

Off the top of my head (I'll probably add more later)...

Savage Garden (perfectly good name wasted on that)
Slaughter
Tuff (ok, the spelling kinda rules this one out, but still...Stevie was sooo tough And I love them to death and love their name, just doesn't fit exactly)
Incubus
Every Mother's Nightmare
Slash's Snakepit (Cool name...never dug it...sorry, Slash...try again...)
Stryper (I could see myself liking a group called Stryper...but those guys...eesh)
Wham (far too aggresive to be George. Should'a been called "Prance")

Shall add more after gettin' some sleep. Feel free to add to the list or agree with any I've put already, and please, no listing bands that just outright suck. Either they have a good name but are crap or they have a name that doesn't fit who they are.

haha i definitely agree w/ wham (hehe prance) and savage garden, but... i like incubus heh heh. o well, i thought of some, too:

Suburban Legends- i dont know, it's just not an appealing name, and it doesn't fit them (they're a good ska band)
The Goops- i think it's a funny name, but i guess it doesn't really fit them either b/c they're a girl punk band... (my friend said it sounded like a guy-band's name)
Saves the Day- was a great band, is a great name, but heh people can get the wrong idea if you talk about them using the abbreviation (std)
Brigade Rosse- great band, but i don't know how to pronounce their damn name!
Hot Hot Heat- cool name, mediocre band
Destiny's Child- cool name, uhh yea that's about it

hmm eh i'm blanking on any more, but perhaps i'll think of some later
