Nintendo has already stopped production of GameCube units (why bother offering a poll?), in part because of the transition to their new Wii console.

Don't forget, the Wii is 100% compatible with GameCube titles.

If you think about it, the Wii basicly doubles as a slim Gamecube. You can also save space if you have a slim PS2 by laying the Wii flat and setting the PS2 on top. Can't do that with the Cube. If you're still looking for a Gamecube, I've seen used ones around here for about $70 and refurbished ones for about $80.

You can get Gamecubes used here for under fifty bucks. :V

Not that I'm going to be converting/replacing anytime soon. Gamecube still works as well as the day I got it.

Also, there was the fact that when my brother (whom I have as of now not quite so much respect) tried to sell his GC just because he was 'going to' get a Wii soon found out that it went for $25 dollars at GameStop, WITH a complementary controller.

Luckily, we managed to talk him onto the side of reason and kept the GC. <3

If only GCs were that cheap in Canada; I'd totally get one. o_o;

We're still hovering around $100 for a new one. Gamestop sells it at $100 used + a few games, or something. Still too much for me to care, though. D8;

Yeah the Wii is the cheapest. About around the same price as the cube.

The remote rocks, and there is a pretty cool Wii version of Google Earth that is fun to use!

I love the gamecube, i like the games and such that other systems didn't do, like other Nintendo systems it'll stop being made but will have people still be owning them.
I will get a Wii but big chance I'll keep my GC too. I've had my GC for 4 and a half , don't wanna get rid of it

I've got a gamecube, and it's fugging ancient. It's never failed me though, and it STILL works like a charm.

Probably because we don't have very many games to play on it...

i love the gamecube. i like playstation better, but actually id rather have the cube than the wii. if someone offered me the wii of course i would take it, its just not many people can afford that system. plus the only game i want from it is twilight princess, but that comes on gamecube too so o well.
