What did you get on your report card?

I got 70.5%. Somewhat ashamed. I usually hit atleast 75. Oh well. It was the fuckin Business class that brought me down. I was doing ok in it but skipped the ISU for fun and wound up with 68%. Ouch. Oh well.

Eh? This number doesn't really mean anything since we've got a range of education levels and different ways of calculating the number.

I don't see all of my final grades before Monday. The ones I've bothered to keep track of on my own are 90, 94, 96, and 98.

Mine is 87

One of my course is sitting at 65, which is the holder-mark, and everybody has that, you write one long-ass essay and that's the course, so I'm gonna have 65 percent in that class until I hand in the essay, which I'll make sure it is the last possible date.

Don't know................. Don't get that kind of system where I live.............. Half/most the time they like keeping our grades secret till the end. Just tell if it needs to be redone. Get given a constructive report and a tick list of the certain parts we hit in that unit so far.

I've had a lot of Haitian teachers with thick accents, but I understood every fucking word out of their mouth. Black kids themselves, Haitians (claiming to be Jamaican), would fucking give them a hard time. Hispanic teachers, too. Every fucking word out of their mouth is understood, but always, always some fucking prick is going on, "What did he say? Speak English!"

In highschool we had a math teacher from Venezuela who was smart as fuck and should have been teaching in college. I asked a white American friend of mine if he understood what he was saying and he said he understood everything. Every other piece of shit sitting in that classroom just wanted to tell the counselor that their math grade was trash because Mr. Arnone just couldn't be understood.

OK, first of all, Zero, you're a jerk. Clean up your language and act like you actually use all that knowledge I'm sure you have. Secondly, not all of us are the same. JUST because you can understand apparently every language known to man, and the accents that go with them, doesn't mean that the rest of us will. I made my statement jokingly, so relax man.
AND when you're in college, being able to understand the teacher is WAY more important than in high school.

So that's an 80% average. Not bad for an underachiever like me.

I remember when I was in middle and high school and I used to get paid for my A's and B's. I made a good chunk of change. Suggest it to your parents, kids. Tell them it's excellent positive encouragement AND it teaches you to manage money "responsibly".
