So i'm going to Chapters tonight. What should I get? Don't want One Piece/Naruto/DBZ/FMA/Love Hina/School Rumble/Negima/Rave Master/Any other Shonen Jump titles. Thinkin maybe Gravitation cuz i'm cool like that. I dunno. Suggestions?

Depends on what you like. :c
I'd personally suggest Saiyuki, if you like action/adventure with humor. Hellsing, if you don't mind gore and/or like gun-totin' vampires... What else? Immortal Rain was cool, if a little cliche. Crescent Moon has original style I really liked, but plotline is kinda semi-generic (well, basic chars and all)
Angel Sanctuary is pretty cool, but has its flaws.
Wolf's Rain had good (if generic) art, and pretty cool.
Oh, and Suikoden III was good. Really like the artist, and the plotline's real catchy. Very Happy

AAF tells me Gravitation readers would also enjoy FAKE, Descendants of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei) and Loveless.

I'm back! Thanks for all the suggestions. Sadly I didn't get any of those because by the time I left I hadn't seen all of them but I did read most of the ones that I did see.

I had already read Saiyuki & Hellsing before but I got to speed-read through Immortal Rain, and Suikoden III. Genshiken wasn't in stock, Eyeshield 21 and Elfen Lied I already had read. Don't like DN Angel, Eerie Queerie! isn't as good as Gravitation (or so i've heard), and I don't remember seeing Alichona, RG Veda, Monster or Blade of the Immortal in stock (blame a small selection of Manga at my Chaps').

Immortal Rain was pretty cool but a little hard to jump right into (especially given that I had an hour and there was a lot I wanted to look at) and Suikoden III was just awesome. Awkward cuz i'm not a huge fan of the game series.

I also got to read volume 2 of Reborn! (which was hilarious: definately reccomended) and Naruto volume 13.

I ended up buying volume 1 of Gravitation and volume 1 of this Shonen I hadn't heard of before called Elemental Gelade which is a little predictable but overall pretty good and i'm really diggin the artwork.

Thanks again, guys. Hopefully i'll be able to go pick up a few more in the near future and the ones I didn't get to see will be there.

Reborn! Picks up in Volume 6, that's when all the episodic adventures end, it creates the base for their future fights with other mafia clans. I like it because it doesn't take itself seriously, there's a thread about it here, 'cept no one posted on it. Crying or Very sad

ahhhh naruto is good but im a huge gundam fan i would say mobile suit gundam 8th ms team rly good anime but hellsing is good indeed "nods head" idk there is alot out there i guess it just depends on u personally
