not exactly there are a few ways to pronounce his name, the books on C.D and tape also pronouce it ser-ee-us as well. so there are alot of different ways to pronouce his name

Yeah, I pronouce it See-re-us too. And the reason she named Sirius SIRIUS, is because of Sirius the dog star, which sounds pretty resourceful to me. *shrugs*

when i read the part that sirius died in i was at my aunts hosue and she reads the books, she's like 40 and she really wanted me to tell her why i was crying but then i told her that she told me not to spoil the book, though i had already spoiled it for myself because i acidently saw a spoiler, but still i locked my self in the bathroom for about 3 hours and cried, i also was thinknig about sending hate mail to her
