Help!!! FINAL FANTASY FANS NEED!! I'm scared! ARGGGHHHH!

OMG! Okay... Okay.... right. At least I thought I knew everything about every FF game untill I found a website that said there has been 2 new remakes of FF7 called dirge of cerberus and crisis core released last year in Europe... I haven't seen 'em! I'm so confused! Arrgghhh!!!! England is Europe... Right?!
Has they realy been released?! Or is that website lying to me? -.-

They're not remakes. They're games that tie in with FF:Advent Children. Dirge of Cerberus was released for the PS2 last year. It IS available in the UK. I've seen it in the shops. You play as Vincent as he goes around uncovering info that relates to FF:AC. Crisis Core, I'm afraid I don't know anything about it, although it does exist, even though I don't know in what shape or form.

I know there's a Dirge thread somewhere on these boards. Its sort of a cross between an FPS and Devil May Cry.

Stay away from it. There are only two games that I've ever had that I couldn't stomach finishing, and that is one of them.

Good cut scenes, though.

Dirge of Cerberus really blows. Don't play it. AS for crises Core I thought it was only for cell phones and only avalible in Japan. But don't quote me on that. I don't know anything.

Crisis Core is about a guy named Zack who wants to be in SOLDIER because of......
everyones favorite kick ass badguy wielding a Masamune, SEPHIROTH!
Then I think then Cloud who looks up to Zack (Am i right?Correct anywhere in this thing if I'm wrong...) wants to join in SOLDIER after hearing Zack's stories(Either that or he wanted to be with Sephiroth, its been awhile since I played FF7).

Personally I really liked Dirge of Cerberus. Alot of people dont like it, not quite sure why but I didnt even know Crisis Core was even out.

yeah this is going to piss you off but there is yet another Final Fantasy 7.
I kid you not!
it was released for the super nintendo but copies were limited. The story has nothing to do with the final fantasy 7 released on playstation but it is still interesting. Some weird things about it are
A:you can see all monsters befor you run into them and they do not move or come back. B: Phonix downs do not bring party members back to life but crystall dust does.
C no coler magic is in this game in fact there is no magic. I only know about this game because my friend let me borrow it and the story goes kind of like this.
you are some guy walking up a mountain untill you get to a large tower and then a dragon pops up and an old guy falls from the tower (he tells youu how you battle)you win and the tower crumbles. next the old guy tells you to go to some pallice and you run into some ninja who becomes your only other party member. you reach the palace wander through it find some dark world walk through that untill you get to a boss called flamers Rex that hurels it's own bones at you. this is as far as I ever got.

As far as I know, he's probably talking about the fan-made FFVII sequel game thing that was created years and years ago with RPGMaker2000 or something like that.

I gave you details about the game even and my friend still has it even though he moved to falcon colorado and we don't talk much.

By the way the cartrage cover has a guy's shadow with a bright sword on top of a reddish brown mountain with a blue cloudy black background. oh by the way phonix downs do revive charaters the crystall dust replaces eather sorry oh and you can buy phenix downs. wich is just as strange as the seeable enemys.

I have not played Crisis Core but soooo want to. I think its based in and around the turks and zack and sephiroth.
Played Dirge of Cerberus! Its amazing!! The secret ending makes me believe theres gonna be another!!!
Theres also Last Order FFVII.......a short anime movie about zack, sephiroth and cloud in nibelheim. Many peple hated it but i personally loved it. Adore Cloud and Seph hehehehehe
Do not panic, they are not remakes......just kinda tying up loose ends

However, I saw a tech demo for the PS3 for FFVII.....not sure about that one though. FFVII for PS3 would be amazing!!!
