Not entirely... In Loveless, it's just that all people are born with cat ears+tail as a symbol of their purity. Once they've lost that purity (virginity) they lose the ears and tail and look like normal human beings.

Loveless is probably the only good quality shounen-ai anime out there (possibly because of its dark plot)... Sukisyo's decent too, but the planning in that series is awful. It has a great storyline (also somewhat dark...), but it's cluttered up with terrible filleresque scenes.

My favorites are the opening to Cowboy Bebop and Sakura Wars. Both are very different music-wise...and graphically, but I think both are very flashy and colorful, which is good in my opinion. Though maybe slightly seizure inducing to some. Ha ha...No really.

I posted in here as Uchiki, but heck... my tastes have changed.

1) DN Angel- adore the song and the animation... so atmospheric.
2) Akira- again, this one's atmospheric and moody, if a little short...
3) Legend of the 4 Kings- perfect in every way, even the music.
4) Fruits Basket- it's... mellow and soothing, methinks.

Note: Legend of the 4 Kings comes under another name called Sohryuden.
