Mother's Day

Mother's Day. Some of us love it. Some of us despite it and want it gone. I, personally, am indiffirent of it's outcome because either way, I appreciate my mom. Though, sorry to say, I didn't really do anything fancy for Mother's Day. We just went to eat out, and the whole family (except my mom, of course) woke up early so we'd be able to produce breakfast in bed. Consisting of an omlette, filled to the brim with melted cheese, mushrooms, green and red bell peppers, onions, and sausage chunks, I do believe it was quite an enticing meal.

Later on during the day, in the afternoon I'd say, we went to an Outlet mall where she picked a few select bags for shopping reasons. Like I said, nothing special or memorable, but it was a fulfilling day regardless of what you might be inclined to say.

So what about you? Feel free to keep to yourself what you did for personal reasons.

Yes I'm a mother. But until my kid is old enough to show appreciation.. mothers day sucks.

I guess it does, but it is not like he is disobeying his mom , it is just he doesn't understand it yet.
