I've waited almost 25 hours for my drawing to be approved. Is that normal? I'm tired of waiting! Call me impatient, but geez! They say it's only supposed to take about 8 hours give or take a few. How long do you all usually have to wait? |

Yeah, I guess so. But seriously. 25 hours? It's not that hard. But I guess I'd get a little lazy too... |

There is nothing difficult about it, at all. Everyone wants to look at thousands of shitty kid drawings month after month. It enriches our lives, gives us something to look forward to every time we sign on to the internet for relaxation. The best part is when we get lazy, OR BUSY, and don't do it for a few days, the people who draw the shitty crap we love to look at, come crying about how their lives suck because they have to wait a little longer to see their shit on the internet even though it all still looks like shit whether it's approved now, eight hours from now, or 25 hours from now. Trust me, my life is so much better than yours because even though you drew it, I am the one who gets to approve it!!! ^_^ _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

No, my life doesn't depend on it, but I'm a noob here, so I guess I'm not used to how this site works. Oh well...But thanks everybody for their input. I'll have to keep it in mind for next time I put up some artwork. And you're right. It does give you something to look forward to. And I am really sorry you have to look at all those s***y pictures, unfocused. That must suck. Well, everyday I seem to learn a little humility so thank you all again! By the way, the pics were posted this morning! So, turns out I didn't have to wait tooo long. Like I said, I always learn a little humility each day. |

New here? That explains a lot, we were all new once. The first things that new submitters to FAC notice and/or complain about is the approval system (a 24-hour wait is, IMHO, average) and the 3-per-day content limit.
Oldbies don't worry about such matters. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

How about instead of "you may have to wait up to 8 hours to be approved" change it to "3 days"?
That way, new members won't end up asking once they reach the 8.01 hrs mark. |

That's not what the message says... (and I've asked denis several times to change the official estimate from 8 to 24 hours). _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Is an extra sixty minutes really that painful?
Don't tell me you are spending all your time waiting in front of your computer twiddling thumbs.
You know what they say about watching the pot . . . go DO SOMETHING! _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
