When I go to the login page, type in my name and password it goes to the home page and says that no one is logged in....I tried refreshing the page and restarting my computer. Nothing seems to work! |

Just about everyone here runs into it from time to time. We're not sure exactly why it occurs.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

*sighs* Here we go again... I've given up trying to count how many times we've answered this sort of question.
Anyway, A short explanation and possible answers are given in the FAQ. There's no guarantee they'll fix your log-in problems though. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Gah... the infamous login type errors strike again!
My current situation is, I am logged in on the main page. But when I went to add a comment to a picture, after submitting the comment I get the error message, "you must be logged in to add comments".
Picture in question: Dragon, by Nighthawk
The comment I want to make on it:
Not bad as dragons go. The wings aren't too thin like some people make them, and the small details help too.
The tail may be a little longer than I prefer, but at least it doesn't taper to super-stringy-thin like many other dragons. The way the wing partitions are spaced isn't to my preferences either.
But overall it ain't bad. Not by a long shot it ain't. I get the impression that this is one of those sorts of dragons who balance upon their hind legs....
_________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Lots of people have been making new accounts just to have second names or something.
lots of
"THIS account is for my non-sonic pics"
or
'this account is for US (note: multiple-user accounts is a no no) to post OUR comic"
stuff like that.
But I actually haven't heard anything about that. o.o I'll ask to see if there's another explanation.
If you have a name already, use that.
If you got deleted, bye bye. you're banned |

I dont have a problem with a group account for cooperative works for people who often work together on the same pics, as long as it isn't used to affect things like voting in polls. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

I believe was Raymei was referring to, besides the rare instances of people working together on art, is those that post things like "here's something my cousin drew" or "this is by my friend!" on their account instead of making another. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Actually what I was referring to was this one account owned by three girls
They weren't colaberating on anything o.o just drawing similar pictures individually (mostly of each other) and posting them on the same account.
does....that count? Or that's bad too, right? |

S'what I meant. People posting art by other people instead of on an account just for them. Same thing. And I reject those. Not that hard to have separate accounts. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
