My name was spawned by my obsession with the Celtic Guardian fron Yu-Gi-Oh. Celtic-chan came from a random fic Seirei and I were writing that had Celtic in it, and we needed a way to tell us two apart. So...I'm Celtic-chan now ^___^

I got my screen name from Taki's weapon, which is actually spelled RekkiMaru, but at the time I forgot how it was spelled and I didn't feel like checking and it just ended up like it is. The name actually means "demon slayer" in Japanese which makes sense given the fact that Taki is a demon hunter. She's also one of my all time favorite characters. :wub:

I've got a couple of screen names. My one on this forum thingy, Jecht Highwind, isn't too special or anything. Jecht and Cid (FF7) are two of my favorite characters, and peopel always name themselves directly after one of the two on my othre forums, so I guess it's to avoid disappointment in name choices!

My others are Sephirius (after the great and mighty Sephiroth) and Auron Valentine (Same reasons as Jecht Highwind).

My name has a REALLY long, [i]convulted[/i] history...

The first thing I ever did online was join up with MercNet (Mechwarrior) and play as a lone wolf. I never really got into the whole clan thing, and was able to pick my own name, not taking a clan name like so many others. Well, my favorite mech to use was the Warhawk. So what the hey, I took that. I used that for a little while, but only on the mech circuit. Once I got into chat, Warhawk sounded a bit too masculine.

I wanted a name that was similar, but not quite so gruff. I alternately used Spitfire and Kittyhawk over the next year or so, depending on the chatroom. When I joined up with MPlayer and got into Drakkan, I ditched the Spitfire name and went solely with Kittyhawk. But hanging around with the Drakkan people, you get silly little nicknames. Usually these are screwed-up versions of your own screennames, and mine was no different. I ended up being "Katbird".

I liked the 'k' spelling. When I had to reinstall Furcadia on my compy and choose a new s/n, I tried going on as Katbird. No go. Someone already had the name. Fine. I spent a little while thinking. I'm fairly sure my cat, Mousie, must have wandered in just then, because next thing I know, I'm logging in as K'Felidae.

Long, no?

What does it mean...

Absolutely nothing
unless you count that mew means a cage for hawks, a sound of a kitten, or a sea bird,

and that 5...well, if you didn't already know that that's a number, I pity you...

Keyido is a radom name I created for a charater for my story. I've used the name for just about anything I sign up for. Other-wise I use night red fox

Night was used as a short for a diary sign-off short for good night

I like foxes but night fox sounded wrong so I added red. ^_^

My screenname is ofcourse MedalMask. It just means a metalmask, but medalmask to my retarded head makes more sense somehow. I got it from myself, seeming when I created that name for myself I saw myself ugly, yeah everyone here does see that I am ugly, so I named myself MedalMask. To cover my ugly face, never to desturbe someone even looking at me saying "look at that girl's face! that's a girl right?"
But my face does look better (I'm using my acne cream! Grr!

But I don't really like sticking to this name anymore since I'm a little over it, cause a couple of months ago I got randomly excited for slipknot, but they suck, that's how I got the mask idea, but since I'm over slipknot (after a week) I konda got over this name, I'd like a new one, but I'm sick of that. I'll keep this one I guess, this site really needs something where you could change your name. But yeah, that's my story. But it's better than Kourona-Sama which was my last one, denis thought I got two different jap. names that I never even heard of and combined it together, so that name was dead, that's one of the reasons why I made this new account. hope you enjoyed the story, treasure it for the rest of your lives!

anyhoo short story behind my name... me and my best friend where surfing the net when we where 11... and we were big DBZ fans back then... so we went in to a DBZ chatroom him as ThaVegeta and me as ThaKakarot... and i've just kept it ever since...

i'm not to big of an DBZ fan anymore... but this name has grown on me Razz

The Kehei 0 was the one of the final bosses in Front Mission 3 for the ps1. Thought it was a cool boss, plus it was pretty original.

when i first started drawing i wanted my pen name to be fayetta/fayette which means baby faery, but when i got a little bit older, i wanted a more mature pen name. so i chose a variation of Fayette (fae) fae just means faery. Smile

My name is cheshchan. Why? Because it has always been that I guess, everyone would always abrev. my name to "chesh" because "cheshiregoddess" is such a long name to say or type out alot. So one day I got sick of my old screen name "cheshiregoddess" and decided to add "chan" onto it. I guess because I remember there were alot of other artists with that chan ending to their name on deviant art. I later realized what "chan" actually meant Laughing
