				 *gasp*

j-rock is my absolute favorite kind of music! here are some of my favorite bands/singers

Gackt, Hyde, Miyavi, L'arc en'ciel, Dir en Grey, Psyco le Cemu, X-Japan, Malice Mizer, Due le Quartz, Mika Nakashima, T.M. Revolution, Hirai Ken, Do as Infinity, Glay, Hikaru Utada, and...I know there are more but that's all I can think of at the moment, some of those bands aren't around anymore but their old music is still good. ^_^ |

				 Ooh, a Japanese music thread!

I dont often listen to this stuff, but I did once her a band called "Doggy Style" (Id guess thats translated, not sure what it is in Japanese), and I really liked it. I cant find their stuff anywhere, but if you know of somewhere...let me know! |

I love my sexy Asian bois.

Oh, and the sweet and sexy knockout of T.M. Revolution is a goof-ball. XD If you ever go to a con where he performs, look around for him near a J-Rock/Pop booth. He may pounce on you!

Oh, and just for good measure: Standing front row center for a Do As Infinity/Camino concert is like a sexless orgasm! That is all. |

A girl after my own heart. Not for J-rock (yet), but I certainly know where you're comin' from. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

				| Dude... The freaking Pillows... The Pillows are the greatest J-Pop Rock group because their guitarist and drummer are so freaking awesome it's unbelievable. Plus I like their music 'cause I don't understand their lyrics which saves me the trouble of critisizing how idiotic the lyrics are in the first place. |

n8comics I'm not going to argue that the pillows are great, because they are an awesome band, but it sounds like you're not giving other j-rock bands a chance, listen to some other stuff, the pillows aren't the only good j-rock band out there. Oh yeah, and listen a little more closely, not all of their songs are in Japanese. |

				| Well, yeah there ARE some words in English, but so far I haven't heard ALL of their songs. Well, their Japanese so I don't expect them to know a whole lot of English, but they've been around 15 or so years... Blah, I've got to get some more J-Rock music, I'm too lazy to search right now. Any suggestions? |

lol sorry TsukinoNeko, i keep stealing what you were going to say

N8comics i think there might be others totally in english but the only pillows song i can think of at the moment is called Subhuman, that one is all in english. My recommendations would be any of the bands i listed earlier lol. But i guess the best of the best in my opinion would have to be Gackt, Miyavi, L'arc en'ciel, or T.M. Revolution. |

"Ready, Steady, Go" -- L'Arc En Ciel

"Lu:Na" -- Gackt

Both awesome songs.

Oh you want something to attach yourself to, since this is an anime site? ^_~ Maybe I can suggest "Heart of Sword" by T.M. Revolution or "Fourth Avenue Cafe" by L'Arc En Ciel. Both songs were ending themes for the awesome anime Rurouni Kenshin? Am I wetting your whistle yet?

By the way Ammotu, have you joined Muse yet? You really should.

Oh, and "Heaven's Drive" -- L'Arc En Ciel. Loves that song. |

Bwee. :3 Welcome. It is my job to pimp Muse. I joined the very first day it opened on December 2nd! Muse is growing strong. ^_^ (Psst, if you look around near the bottom of the page, you SHOULD see a certain drawing that looks familiar. ^_~ Unless they changed the layout of the page. O_o)
