How do I change my member title to what I want? For example, how do I create a custom title?

As far as has been answered already . . . you don't.

Although, it could be a nice perk if after a large number of posts (somewhere in the thousands) you could do a custom title....

I'll try to be more mature and active, then.

That's what I've always wondered. . . . .

And no custom titles. It's our one pleasure in life. Don't take it away. Sad

I've stummbled upon some bad spamming in the fanart and was wondering where (to whom) I should report it.
Does the abuse team handle spam as well as plagerism? Or is there another place to send complaints?
This is what I want to report:
http://www.fanart-central.net/pictures.php?pid=83555 <_<
It came up in the site stats section because it had so many posts, and they turned out to be a few people's own little chat session. This isn't allowed, right? If it is, ignore me, otherwise, could you tell me where to send these sorts of things?

Site rule#14 is the rule regarding comments on pictures. It doesn't specify on chatting, only on flames and general cruelty.

Since immaturity is active in the forums, Unmoderated especially, I'd like to apologize for any immaturity on my part, as I don't mean to cause the administrators or moderators any trouble, or want to, and I sure as anything don't wish to be banned. Please accept my apologies, those who acknowledge them.

*scratches head* A doll? Sorry, you lost me . . . hmm... something you drew, correct?

First and obviously, you need to scan the image into your computer, and you need to be registered here on FAC. After that you just go to the main page, www.fanart-central.net, log in with your username/password, and then hit the button marked 'Add Picture' and follow the instructions.

(A doll is one of those pixel art things you can put in an image program and alter/dress up Razz )

If you drew it in MSPaint, I think that program's default save format is bmp. Open the doll in whatever program you drew it in, click "save as", and find the drop down menu of formats. I assume it's pixel art, so save it as gif.

Hello! I'm new to fanartcentral.net! ^_^ I have just one little question to ask.

How many kb go into one k? Because I see that pictures have to be less than 300k, yet my computer displays pics in kb.

Thanks to anyone who can help me! ^_^

O_O! And another question I'm going to edit in! Okay, I know we can't change our usernames, but what about having your full name display on the forums with it? I didn't realize that that was going to happen. I thought that we were only supposed to put our name for registration purposes. I'd really rather it not be displayed like that. Can I change it at all?

Thanks again!

Erm, hi everyone..

Anyway, I was wondering about the whole stolen art thing. Is it stealing art if they just take an offical picture and recolors it? *Pokes to Goka* I'm not trying to be crule, but hey x.x

If the artist claims that something drawn by someone else is their own, than it's stealing. Doesn't matter if they recoloured it or edited it or whatnot.
Put simply, whatever you submit here has to be drawn by you.

I'll agree with Paru on that one. If you take a black-and-white official art and colorize it in photoshop, while the color job might be yours, the actual drawing still is not.

On the other hand, if you used official art as a reference for drawing out that character/pose, then the drawing you make is yours.

Hmm... I know that the forums display both username and real name, but you should only have to type in your username while logging in . . . I don't know what causes that . . . .

When you try to log into the forums, I believe it automatically puts both your sn and real name into the "name" field. Delete your real name, put in your password, and then it should work. Smile

As for official art, even if you redraw it, credit must be given in the description that you referenced it.

I wonder. Does this mean that when you log in, you type in your username as, for example, "fallenangel fallen" or something?

The idea is worth a try....
