I want to be a drummer... but sometimes i can be very doubtful and don't think i'm ever going to be good enough. i took lessons, but i'm giving them a rest until i decide to continue. i'm not sure if i want a drumset yet, because if my parents spend so much money on one, and i never use it, that would make me feel terrible... idk what i should do!!!

I say give it up. Drummers should start learning when they are 5 years old.

i'm still not sure... shinya started when he was 12, and just look at him now! plus, shinya started with the piano, then switched to the drums, which is what i did. i'm considering quitting and maybe just playing the piano for a few of the songs for the band i was going to be in. ya know, that's not a bad idea...

Just STFU and do what you feel, don't listen to people who don't know how to play musicial instruments. BTW I play guitar.

Are you talking about the wonderful Shinya, drummer of Luna Sea, or Shinya, that guy in that Dir en grey band? I hope the former.

You can usually rent musical instruments for like a year or something. If after that time you decide it's not for you, then just move onto something else. It's cheaper than outright buying an entire drum set.

In the sweetest child there's a vicious streak
In the strongest man there's a child so weak
In the whole wide world there's no magic place
So you might as well rise put on your bravest face~
