The FAC AP?

I'm sure the admins here are super busy with alot of things, but I was wondering how long the waiting for approval thing is going to take? Its been well over the 8 hours mentioned in the submission process, and all my artworks are still in the "Pending" section.

Also, doesn't this process seem a bit...redundant? Wouldn't it be alot easier if the artists were allowed to submit freely, and report violations to you guys?

I know you guys aren't DeviantART, but wouldn't that make things alot easier for both Admins and Users? Just my observation, is all.

the people in this site are more retarded than the people in Deviant art, on average.

and this site is fan-art based, meaning, if we didn't do a good job on arts ending up on the right category, there's no reason to exist.

DA, however, don't rely on people looking through a category, and has much more submissions.

It's not that DA doesn't like AP, it's that AP would be impossible based on how much art gets submitted each day.

I used to be AP for half a year, it's a horrible job.

You get no recognition, and you have to shift through around 700-2000 pictures a month, telling little dumbfucks not to submit their horrid little sonic furfaggotry under "animations"

and there's never enough automated reason for rejection, I always wished there was one for "This picture is too fucking big"

You'd be surprised just how few members actually care enough to report violations. Sad

APQ is backed up again (400+ pending submissions), time to give it some attention.

I care.

It actually pisses me off when a fantard posts a edited screen-shot of any character and claim it as their art. Granted I give warnings to delete the image before actually thinking about reporting them.

Better yet, give a warning AND report them. We like to keep track of these things, even the ones users remove on their own.
