So yeah, I was right in the fact that an anime made from a manga where people just sit around and TALK wouldn't be very interesting. But I'm a sad little fan so I'll keep watching just the same. :B

Kappei Yamaguchi as L... I always pictured him being voiced by a woman for some reason, but Yamaguchi did a surprisingly good job.Sexy L voice, lolz. Not what I imagined, but good nonetheless.

Light has an awesome insane laugh. 8DDD

I've watched the five first episodes ... they're not as good as the manga, but I still liked them... a lot! Very Happy

I love L's voice! ^_^ but Light's voice makes me laugh everytime he's mad because then he sounds exactly like Tamaki from Ouran High XD (they have the same voice-actor)

Oh yeah, I remember this anime/manga.

Ahaha, I read up to like, chapter 30, freaked out (I get scared easily) and haven't picked it up since.

Which sucks for me since I really liked it too XD Better get back to reading I guess...

DeathNote is great <3 Probably one of the best I've seen so far. But what annoys me a little bit is about the plot. I don't get how L pretty much immediatly put Light down as Kira, that just doesn't make sense to me D;. Their assumptions get fairly out of hand at times but it works out 'cause its great |D.

Death note is one of my favourite anime. I actually find their conclusions make a lot of sense and it was probably a hunch of L's that raito was kira...although raito was connected to the investigation a lot. I've read the manga, very creepy.

(wow it's been a while since I've posted in the forum)
When I heard about this anime/manga, I was thinking, "what can be so good about this anime? He finds a book and kills people and they go after him." But then I started watching it and I got hooked on it. I really like the originality in this series. I enjoyed the way Light came up with ideas to keep himself from getting caught.

I also enjoyed the characters in this one. Ryuk was quite interesting lol. My fav character was L though. I like odd characters and he was certainly that lol. He was also smart and I like how they made him out to be smart yet he would think of it as a game. Misa was just annoying to me. I've never been one to be into characters like her.

I'm not too crazy about the Eng. dub though. I'm familar with the VA's they chose and I don't really agree with them. Ryuk's didn't turn out as bad as I though but I still feel they could had used a better VA. But then again, that's just my opinion.
