Is Your Own Or A Friends House Haunted In Any Way?

i beleive in ghosts my house is haunted its over 100 years old so yeah we have ghosts an old lady,a scary little girl thats pitchblack like a shadow,a few orbs and i think the ghost of a killer in our basement but anyways when i was little id always hear them saying my name and hear doors open and shut then later in my life i started seeing them but whats really scary is whats in my woods THOUSANDS LITTERALLY THOUSANDS of ghosts are in my woods when you go up there at night all you hear is people laughing and talking etc its pretty scary most people dont have the guts to go up there at night maybe the fact that my house used to be rented out to a coven of satanists before we moved here had to do with some of the ghosts nothing against satanists....but man its creepy i went up in my woods one night around 12 oclock midnight i heard insane laughter ,crazy screams ,casual laughter ,horses trotting,people talking ,and people whispering,heh i guess you could say my woods really come "alive" at night.....im gonna go up there with a camera sometime maybe ill catch a spook in a pic! Are any of YOUR houses haunted as well ((oh and sorry this is so simmiliar to the are ghosts real thread))

My grandmothers house may be. you can hear the fridge opening late at night, and can even see the light from it. then, you hear kinda clanking like someone opened the cabinet and got a dish, then hear the fridge door closing. then you hear footsteps up the stairs to the loft, and sometimes you can even hear the computer chair up in the loft creaking. i believe this is because my grandfather may have died in the house. and it can't be grandmother, because she'd be in the same room and this happens EVERY night.

even though, i don't feel comfortable talking about the spirits of the deceased like this, makes me feel a bit like i'm dishonouring them.. *is a big believer in the supernatural* Uneasy

We thought that a ghost was in our house one night when my sister was sleeping. She had a balloon tied to the post at the bottom of her bed (she had been in a musical or somthing that night, and it's was a good luck thing) she had been sleeping, when she heard the door open, mind you, she heard the doornob turn, so it couldn't have been our cats, or the draft that somtimes gets in our house. she was turned away from the door, and didn't see anything, but after about 15 mins. she turned on her light, and the balloon had been untied, and was floating around her room.
After that, every once in a while, we would find our attic door slightly ajar. Convieniently, we have one of those atics where they have a string to pull down from the cieling, and it's was in that same sister's room.
After a while, the whole thing was forgoten, I just remembered it when I saw this topic.

To Silver_dreams i dont thinks its dishounoring them but it is not honoring them either its a friendly talk about the spirits damned to rome the earth in the spot were a traumatic event in their life happened or where they were murded untill they solve some deep inner problem with thereselves,find out theyre actually dead , or try to work out a problem with someone they hated/killed/got killed by/or something happened between them that was very important.
For example this girl was a witress maybe a hundred years ago at a saloon and she met her true love and later after he had left she found a note that she thought was from him it said i love you meet me at this spot ((idunno the name of it)) behind the rocks but the note was actuelly from here friends (she only had guy-friends) and she waited all night and into the morning then her "friends" sprung up throwing tiny rocks at her and she was crying and one dude pegged a rock that was a little to big at her and hit right on her head and killed her she haunts there now forever waiting for her lover to come for her
and to raging flea hell yeah dude if you can snap some photos thatd be great if anybody haf photos from their own house feel free to post them if i buy a camera i will take some shots of my woods,etc

I have a friend who has a haunting in his attic. I know this for a fact because the door that leads to the attic is connected to his compter room (their attic is just like another room in their house that the entrance is a regular door and not a pull down door in the cealing). When I am over we sometimes hear footsteps coming from that room, even at like 2:00 am whe we know no one else is awake. He's investigated it a few times and never found anything.

mine is badly! i have 1 ghost of my next door neighbor that passed who: rings our doorbell but when it plays it a diffrent tune opens adn closes mine the front and my sisters doors takes my fone of the hook

and then we have his cat that passed away shortly after him who we just see every now and then in the corner of our eyes and it scares my cats..

There is no such thing as ghosts. When you want to believe in ghosts, it's suddenly so much easier to see them in all kinds of pretty regular everyday things. You will be amazed what the human subconsious can do to your judgment when you're afraid.

You think there are ghosts.

You get scared.

You see or hear something a little out of the ordinary.

You immediatly think it's a ghost and the 'shock' effect from being scared makes the whole thing more intense.

You think back about what happened and come to the conclusion there were THOUSANDS LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF GHOSTS when you might have heard someone talking far away. Voices carry long distances sometimes.

i will be lying in my bed and i will hear foot steps i will go outside my room and check everyone is asleep, i lay back down again and i hear it again..i think its one of the cats..so i put them all outside i hear it again! so finally just to play with myself i go "mort its just us go back to sleep(mort was the name of my dead neighbor) and it stops...

im not afraid of either of the ghosts i think they r cool^^

i never said i love ghosts or dont praticularly belive in them, i believe tha tu r reincarnated but i think that bad peoples souls remain so i dont get why mort is still around he was really cool and a good guy...but i cant think of anything else...

listen chibiprincess, 'Mort' isn't around because there is no such thing as ghosts. Have you actually seen it? Have you heard him speak so you know it's him? You have no evidence at all. The only thing you have, is that you mumbled something while you were in bed. Ghosts are just an other superstition as there are many more. All souls travel to the next world, or to heaven and hell or are reincarnated, and while we are on the subject, there isn't even proof of souls being real. Firstly we assume we have a soul, and secondly we assume that after we die our soul moves on, and thirdly, we assume that some souls linger around as ghosts?

This is to all of you: Exaggerated and scared stories of children hardly constitute as proof of ghosts. If there are so many around as you guys claim, why is there no scientific proof of their existance? Because with level headed and objective reasoning you take all possibilities in account and the ghost story is always less likely.

Mine is .....Id go to my basement and sit on the couch(by my window)I happen to look out it and see(my basment window's are ground level)shadows of ppl walking by...same as when im aloun im my garage i see ppl...... also maby near breakfest i whent to the wash room and out of nowere thought to my-self maby thers a dead body in my cabnet(wich could hold a grown adult) i tried to forget wile washing my hands then i herd a voice(a sorta snakey voce)say:Look...look... i was so freaked out...also during the day/night ill hear doors open and close when none are.....When im outside ill hear nosies(most of my back yard is forest)like ppl runing taword me and voices......my friends say im hearing things but i say that some-one is still hear. Sad

Maybe you shouldn't obsess about what I write, especcially when it's over a week old. I think I have plenty of imagination, but I don't believe childrens' ghost stories.
