That would be "One" by Metallica (before they sucked!). Most controversial video for its day. |

lol I watched the video for "One" by Metallica at like 3 or 4 in the morning so it weirded me out ^_^ One of my favorite videos is Wishbone by Drop Box may you be straight gay or whatever ANYONE who likes hot girls will love that video Oh and I freekin' hate the song/video for Silver and Cold by AFI, omfg thats overplayed like crazy on FUSE (my favorite music channel). Oh and every video I've seen by Guns N' Roses rocks because they are one of the best bands that have ever been. And Fallen, you have excellent taste in music. |

Guns n' Roses is better than you (general statement. They're probably better than anyone that reads that ).
And all their videos do rock. Even Garden of Eden. My "Welcome To The Videos" VHS needs to be replaced on DVD, it's about to wear out.
Skid Row videos. They're all good.
Nonstop to Nowhere - Faster Pussycat. God is that a catchy song. Sorry, boys, no hot chicks. Unless you want to pretend Taime's a kinda scary goth one... Brent's kinda pretty. *shrug* Not representative of the rest of their work. Poison Ivy's closer to the ballsy Pussycat they normally are... still nowhere near Bottle In Front of Me or Cathouse.

Guns N' Roses is awesome(although I only listen for Slash's killer guitar). Definately one o' the best.
"Like A Stone"-Audioslave
Audioslave may become a great band. Using 3/4 of RATM and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden sounds to be an interesting combination. Tom Morello is the effects master. God, his solos cannot be copied accurately...
Even when I watch the videos and live performances, I can't tell how he does it. Tons of alterations between bass/treble and about 50 effects pedals at his feet.

Axl would kick your ass for that. Someone had to write those songs for Slash to solo on. Steven Tyler, David Lee Roth, Axl Rose. The 3 heavyweight frontmen when it comes to performance. (Mick Jagger's close, but no) _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I could probably run faster than Axl. Can't kick my ass if I'm 3 miles away.
Yeah, but since Slash isn't the frontman, he can go all out without losing his place on what he's playing. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Oh well sure now. You can run faster than a balding fatass who gets winded running from one side of a stage to the other. Congratulations. But back in the day your ass would be dead. And I mean that in a violent, completely non-sexual way.
But now it would just be Axl's security kicking your ass. Then he'd sue you. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

The Nirvana vids are good as well.
The Californication and By the Way vids for RHCP are ok. _________________ Not all who wander are lost.

Heavenly Blue has to be my favorite, just because it creeps most people out. |

The best music video i'd have to say is Californication by Red Hot Chille Peppers.
It is the format of a video game and constantly changes characters. It has a great effect.
Also, Guilty Consence by Eminem and Dr DRE and Still D R E by obvouisly, Dr DRE. I just love the way the cars are jumping. |

Ok well I didn't want to even post on this thread, but after reading all the posts I figured eh, you all had different likes. And I didn't predict any of them. Ok I'm not making much sense here. Well here's my little list,
Stinkfist - by tool. yes I hate to mention tool, I love, but everybody knows them now.
Scism - by tool. It went very well with the song, plus you never see the band members!! Which is very cool. Plus the dude's art in those videos is incredible.
All i full of love - by Bjork. It's her best video, chris cunningham is a great director
Come to daddy - by aphex twin. Richard d. James is the best, and this video works soooo well for him.
Windowlicker - by aphex twin. They're both by the same director, and they're very similar. But again it works so well for him.
Rockit - by herbie hancock. I loved that video when I was a kid.
That's all I'm going to put down for now. I mean I'm having a brain fart... I could put down at least 20 but... there's some. So that's my 2 cents. |
