I've been wanting to do some dujin work for some time and have a solid two volumes of story down and have hardly even started. I'm sitting here debating on wether or not I should convert it from script form into a more standard story format.
I did it that way to ease the intigration to the artwork but now I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to be able to get the artwork done. In script form there is not enough information to develop an accurate picture of the events. This leaves little to no chance of colaboration in the event I have no time to draw the artwork and/or find my own art unsatisfactory.
Thoughts, convert it to story form or continue it in script form? _________________ RPG-n. I think it's more likely that you'll find enough time to do it yourself than finding someone willing to do it for you. _________________ Go Yankees! |

No one, I mean no one wants to willingly draw characters they have absolutely no feelings for. Do the story form. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

It may be worthwhile declaring that those are already the case, by default.
If you have the money to commission an artist, then you can find someone and work out the details with them. Of course, if it's someone you are already contacts / friends with that helps too, but if all else fails you can of course put it into comic form yourself, results-be-damned. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

That may be true, however I have a tendancy to never finish long series of imagery.

I do not do enough writing to make NaNoWriMo appealing to me, untill just this morning I didn't even know what it was.

Read to fast much, the whole point to considering a more formal story format is in the event I have to look for people willing to colaborate.
As for the charachters, only one original charachter based in a very mainstream and popular Manga as well as the anime here stateside. That said there are still people who have some semblance of feelings for the official charachters of the series, prolly not as many as there where when I come up with the idea a little over five years ago, but still.

I don't have the money to buy food.....I'm screwed on that part. It was always the plan to do the art my self, I've been spending a fair portion of time over the last year reading and rereading the few mangas I was able to get my hands on as well as watching and rewatching the anime in an effort to examin the art work specifically for this. However....I am my own worst critic. My work has been getting worse over the past year, I simply doubt own hand.
Then again, it can't be worse that some of the stuff that gets on here, I suppose. _________________ RPG-n. I said almost the same thing in 2007. Signed up anyway and when December rolled around those were my favorite 55,000 words ever. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
