I prefer 3rd person cause you have a more open range and can see what's going on around you etc. Also never played the COD's but if they had a rocket launcher or machine gun then I would grab those in a heartbeat x3 (Though in DoC I usually use my powered up Cerberus or in RE4 I go with ol widow maker chicago typewriter or the infinate rocket launcher :3)
