General >> Pets & Animals
Just thought that would be a good suggestion since most people on FAC are animal lovers including myself and I would love to see an animal forum section. It would be a good place to discuss animals, political issues involving animals, pet care, pet questions, pet discussions, etc.
Just a thought. _________________ |

Perhaps after the PHPbb3 upgrade. The forums are at current too large and adding more is only going to make it worse. After the PHPbb3 upgrade we will have the ability to subforum, then we might have some room to put it in. _________________ RPG-n. No no no no no no god. There are too many forum sections already and there are like no posts. Just start a pet thread in general discussion or something. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Battou and London are right. The community has grown too small for this many sections as is, no more needed. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

You guys may not have noticed that the Books, Music, and Sports sections were combined together recently.
Leo may have chosen the wrong way to say it, but yeah, too many forum sections in a flat listing for the current level of activity. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

That was good. You might as well throw comics/cartoons in there, since the only person that posts in there is that guy with this weird obsession with Deadpool.
Sandbox:
- Get rid of the testing area. Seems useless.
Help Center:
- Merge general help and resolved issues, and don't bother closing resolved topics. If someone has a similar problem, they could potentially post in that thread instead of starting their own. It doesn't help organize things if you have them separate, anyway, since there are so few topics made, so it's easy to tell what's resolved and what still needs attention.
- Don't see why we need a "computer talk" and a "computer help" section.
The Arts:
- General Art Discussion, Artistic Help, and Tips/Tutorials are mostly the same thing.
- Merge Writing Help and General Writing Discussion. You could also just get rid of the poetry section and have people open poetry threads in Writing. Poetry gets no traffic anyway.
Contests:
- When you get around to implementing subforums, archived contests and contest polls should be off the forum index immediately. Does anyone even look in archived contests?
Activities:
- No point in having rating games and non-rating games split. _________________ Go Yankees! |
